Bollywood star Parineeti Chopra and politician Raghav Chadha have unveiled the name of their son after a long time! The couple who gave birth to a baby boy on October 19, have gone for a name that is simple yet very significant - Neer.
The new parents couldn't control their excitement and went posting the news on Instagram. One of the photo carousels that they shared was really adorable as it showed their baby boy's little feet. On one lovely photo, the couple can be seen kissing their baby's feet with a lot of love."
In their very thoughtful caption, the couple shared the meaning of their chosen name:
"Jalasya rūpam, premasya svarūpam - tatra eva Neer. Our hearts found peace in an eternal drop of life. We named him 'Neer' - pure, divine, limitless."
'Neer' is a Sanskrit name and it means water and water is the purest and most limitless thing in this world. The name has already been loved by fans who comment that it is an absolute perfect match for the couple whose vibe is so peaceful and elegant.
Parineeti and Raghav got married in a lovely ceremony in Udaipur in September 2023. They announced their pregnancy in August 2025. Their very first announcement after the birth which took place last month was equally heartfelt: "He's finally here. Our baby boy. And we literally can't remember life before. Arms full, hearts fuller."
