The couple of detectives in Udne Ki Aasha, Sachin and Sayali, have their detective gears working at full power when they become so suspicious about Sheetal's strange behavior that they can't go on further. Sheetals odd disappearance, among other things, is the reason that the two can get rid of the disturbing atmosphere from Vikas' bungalow, which is also located there.
The drama detonates when the get a glimpse of Sheetal dragging a huge suitcase out of the house in a hurry. She is putting on a show of sweating profusely, avoiding their glances, and quietly giving her excuses- what could be more obvious that she is up to something? Having a conviction in their mind that if it is the worst in the case (like that of Sanam's body), Sachin and Sayali stop her and insist that she opens it right then and there and if not they will do it.
However, Sheetal refuses to go with them and asserts that she is late for an important engagement. Not even for a moment, they put faith in the words that she said and took her along with the suitcase to a police station there they met the inspector to whom they explained everything.
They also narrate to the police that they have seen a very quick and dark shadow figure coming down from Sanam's terrace and leaving in a flash, and at the same time, there was no trace of Sanam. Sheetal, however, being very emotional and hysterical about it, says that the suitcase is "extremely heavy" and accuses them of harassing her. The inspector, who has had enough of their investigative ventures, loses his temper and commands her to do it immediately.
Everyone is so charged up; they cannot take their eyes off of her as she slowly unzips her suitcase. The first and foremost thing in the suitcase is the clothes which take up the whole space - there is nothing bad or eerie here. It couldnt be more of a surprise! Sheetal is quick to react and points at Sachin and Sayali as the ones responsible for wasting the time of the police out of jealousy. According to her, they are just the envious ones who have nothing better to do but to plot against Vikas, a famous person.
The inspector gives a very serious look to the couple and asks them why they did so without having any proof in their hands. Sachin does not budge even an inch, he is certain of what he had seen and hence tells the truth. Sayali also supports him and says that they are only using their own eyes to put the pieces together. However, the officer prohibits their activity unless they bring forward undeniable evidence.
They defeated but still full of stubbornness and determination. If the suitcase is just a red herring, then the only question that remains is where is Sanam? Also, Who is the one who has reposted his old reel and is trying to fool everyone that he is still alive? The anxiety envelops them totally making them unable to move from their seats wanting to know what happens next in this story of lies and conspiracies. What will be next in this series of deception? Wait and see!
