The high-voltage family drama continues in the latest episode of Udne ki Asha. Today, the Deshmukh family hosts a grand evening reception for the newly married couple. Sailee looks beautiful but she is feeling quite nervous about everything.
Renuka, the shrewd
and mean mother-in-law, plans her next wicked move. She wants to publicly
humiliate Sailee in front of all the respectable guests present.
During
the formal dinner, Renuka starts openly criticizing Sailee’s poor family
background now. She loudly taunts Sailee about not bringing enough gold or cash
as a proper dowry gift. Renuka says that her talented son Sachin deserves a
wealthier and much more polished wife. The guests feel very awkward and look at
Sailee with great pity. Sailee is deeply hurt by these nasty public insults
from her mother-in-law.

Without a moment’s hesitation, Sachin comes forward and in a very gentle manner, takes Sailee's hand in front of everyone. He informs his mother that Sailee is, in fact, the perfect wife he really needs.
To Renuka, he says it’s better if she
ends her personal attacks at once and without exception. Sailee is quite taken
aback by Sachin's wholehearted public support and kindness. Now, the two share
a sweet, emotional eye-lock moment. This moment is a major turning point for
the couple.
