Kausar is resolute in her intentions of giving Seher not only the best education but also a life full of choices. This is the one opportunity through which Kausar never got to fight for herself. Her husband, Parvez, on the other hand, is vehemently against this progressive outlook.
He keeps telling that Seher has to be married off to the Mufti family who are rich and influential. Parvez is obsessed with the idea of marrying his sixteen-year-old daughter to Mahid. Mahid is the boarder and the only son of the influential Mufti family.

On the facade, Mahid appears to have everything going for him. However, he quietly harbors very deep emotional scars and hurts. These underlying issues are what make him a very intricate character.
Seher is gradually getting the idea that fighting for her own dreams is what it really means. She has finally realized the courage inside her to make her dreams come true. Fate keeps bringing Seher and Mahid closer to each other over and over again. Despite being from two different worlds, they have a bond.

In the meantime, Kausar and Seher have initiated a tiny, silent revolt of their own. They are a team working to put an end to the cycle of oppression and patriarchy which their family has been subjected to for generations.
Kausar desires to give Seher not only love but also power. She is not going to allow Seher to inherit the night which she has gone through. The episode is about Kausar's power as she juggles the fight for her daughter's "sunrise" and her own agonizing past.
The audience is left with the question if the mother and daughter will be able to escape their gilded cage.
