Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, Written Update dated 03 December 2025

The most recent episode of the highly anticipated reboot, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, revolved around the huge rift in the Virani family. The battle between the old and new way of life escalated to a point where it could not be contained. 

Savita Virani, the current matriarch (Tulsis great-granddaughter), was very strict about the family rule that she had drawn up. It was mandatory for everyone to come back home before sunset every day. 

But the youngest son, Shaurya, was vehemently against the idea of following this strict rule. In his opinion, the rule was outdated and suffocated the people in the house.

Frustrated by the rebellion of Shaurya, there was a public showdown at the maximum volume. Savita claimed that Shaurya had shown a complete lack of respect to the family heritage. She insisted that he must apologize to all the elders immediately. 

Shaurya countered that his liberty was being taken away without any justification. The quarrel escalated to the point where people were shouting at each other. Maya, his wife, was trying to calm the fiery dispute. Between her husband and the formidable mother-in-law she was in a very uncomfortable position.

In the end, grandma Dadi Krishna, the senior member of the Virani family, came to the rescue. That night, she was going to have a very important family meeting and she had made up her mind already. 

She reminded them all of the times when Tulsi and Mihir had made sacrifices. Above all, she pleaded with them to keep the family united. Nevertheless, to everyone's amazement, she also acknowledged and approved of Shaurya's craving for privacy. This caught Savita overwhelmingly off-guard.

Dadi Krishna came up with a solution that could work for the whole family. She was thinking of deciding on a reasonable time for the youngsters to be in by night. She also warned Savita quite severely not to force her own personal opinions on others. 

The episode drew to a close with Savita feeling totally undercut and disgraced in front of the public. It appeared that she was plotting to find another way to show that her authority was still intact. This particular altercation demonstrates how the Virani family saga can go on forever without actually coming to an end.
