The chapter of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai had many surprising, delightful twists. Abhira and Armaan kept up their clever and funny plan. They wanted to reunite Kaveri (Dadi Sa) and Vidya (Maa Sa) through the reunion of the two old ladies.
The young couple opted for a funny way to achieve their goal. They faked a series of loud, dramatic, and exaggerated fights. They wanted the two warring elders to stop their differences.
The episode started with Kaveri spying on Abhira’s actions. She was eager to know how the couple celebrated their wedding anniversary. Abhira and Armaan soon appeared in a seemingly irritated mood.
They then embarked on a noisy theatrical argument. They purposely raised their voices so that the elders could hear everything. Vidya and Kaveri heard the escalation of the tension between them. It made both the elderly women more and more anxious.
The couple didn't stop their performance at home but went on to the family court as well. They loudly charged each other with being incompatible. Armaan declared that he was sorry for their wedding all the time.
Abhira also helped her husband’s plan to the dot. The elderly people were totally taken aback by this bitter exchange of words. They intervened desperately to give their counseling to the couple.
Maa Sa and Dadi Sa reminded Armaan and Abhira of the need to apologize to each other without any delay. The elders finally saw their own folly of not making up with each other.
This drama was just a ploy to unite the whole Poddar family. However, Maa Sa quickly sensed a secret plot. She recommended that they should call Maira to check if she is alright.
This small suggestion instantly revealed the whole charade of Armaan and Abhira. The loving couple eventually admitted that the fights were staged. They had only planned it to mend the family's broken bonds.
