Today was quite a heavy episode for us to watch, and the tension in the air was thick enough to cut with a knife. We feel like Anupama is fighting battles on so many fronts right now that it's hard to keep track. It all started with Pakhi, who's just not ready to listen to reason.
When Anupama tried to talk some sense into her about this new man, Diwaker, Pakhi just shut her down. She's feeling so lonely that seeing all her friends with partners has made her desperate for love. We believe she's walking right into a trap.
Anupama tried to tell her to at least take some time to know him, but Pakhi was just cold and dismissive. It's heart-wrenching to see them like this. Then the scene shifted to the Kothari family, where things weren't any better.
Vasundhara is still being stubborn and hateful toward the Shahs. She actually wanted to run away to the farmhouse just to avoid them! Thankfully, Prarthana stood her ground.
Our observation is that Prarthana is really the bridge between these two families right now. She insisted that her baby shower happen at the Kothari house and that the Shahs must be invited. It was a brave move, but we could see the storm brewing.
The actual function felt like a ticking time bomb. While Ansh and Prarthana were trying to be happy, Vasundhara was there making snide comments. There was a sweet moment where Rahi and Prem got close, but Meeta caught them, which was super awkward.
The real shocker came during the rituals. Anupama suggested that Ansh should sit with Prarthana for the ceremony, which makes sense in today's world. But Vasundhara dropped a total bombshell.
She insulted Ansh and said Gautam should be the one sitting there because he's the "real" father. The look on everyone's face was just pure shock. We think Anupama isn't going to let this slide.
From the glimpse of what's coming next, she actually kicks the chair out from under Gautam! It's going to be absolute chaos, and we're honestly here for it. Ansh deserves better than that kind of humiliation.
