The 20th April 2026 episode of Udne Ki Asha starts with Sayali receiving her first payment from the new floral contract she secured. In a major scene, Renuka sees the cash in Sayali’s bag and immediately starts making accusations. She claims that the household savings have been decreasing and hints that Sayali is stealing money from the kitchen budget to fund her gifts and business. Sayali is stunned by these cruel words and tries to show the receipt from her client. Renuka refuses to look at the proof and continues to shout, making sure the entire family hears her accusations. Tejas also joins in, questioning why Sayali needs a separate bank account if she is part of the family.
Meanwhile, Sachin loses his temper seeing Sayali’s hard-earned success being turned into a crime. He takes the money from Sayali and places it in front of Renuka, challenging her to prove that even a single rupee is missing from the house funds. He tells his mother that her habit of doubting Sayali's character is becoming unbearable. Sachin proudly announces that Sayali’s business is growing because of her talent, and the family should be supporting her instead of pulling her down.
The episode reaches a turning point when Paresh stands up for Sayali. He reminds Renuka that Sayali has always been transparent about her finances. He warns Renuka that her constant negativity will drive their children away from the house. Renuka, feeling cornered, starts her usual drama of being a victim and claims that no one respects her anymore because of the "new daughter-in-law." Sayali feels guilty for the tension in the house, even though she has done nothing wrong.
The episode ends with Sachin and Sayali in their room. Sachin tells Sayali to never stop working and promises to manage the household politics himself. Sayali is grateful but feels the weight of the unfair treatment she receives from her mother-in-law. Our Take:
This episode was a rollercoaster of emotions. It was heartening to see Sayali wanting to share her happiness with the family, and equally frustrating to see Renuka ruin the moment. Sachin’s support is the only thing keeping Sayali going, and their bond is the highlight of the show. We hope the upcoming episodes show Renuka finally getting caught in her own trap so that Sayali can live in peace.
