The 28th April 2026 episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Myra saying that Abhira is sad and if they leave, Arman will also be sad. She asks why they all cannot stay together. Myra says she does not understand why she has to choose between Abhira and Arman. She requests Abhira to come back home. Abhira decides to go to the Poddar house. Kaveri decides to welcome Abhira and Arman. Vidya gets offended. Manisha stops Vidya.
A big moment happens when Myra asks Abhira to sit with Arman in the front seat. Abhira hesitates to sit. Myra then says she will sit with Abhira at the back. Mukti asks if she has to sit with Arman. Arman is shocked. Mukti says she loves the front seat. Myra is happy to sit with Abhira. Mukti likes to sit with Arman.
Meanwhile, Vidya gets restless seeing the preparations for the welcome. Kaveri asks everyone to prepare for Arman and Abhira’s welcome. Disha tells Manisha and Aryan that she has fixed Abhira’s room. Manisha asks Disha why she did not ask the staff to do it. Disha says instead of just supervising the staff, she felt like fixing the room herself. She tells Manisha that she saw a new bedsheet style and decided to change everyone’s bedsheets. Manisha asks Aryan why Disha wants to be a housewife and does not want to make a career. Aryan says he is confused. Manisha asks Aryan to make Disha understand that she should work.
The episode reaches its peak when Abhira and Arman enter the Poddar house. Kaveri welcomes Myra, Arman, Abhira, and Mukti. Vidya stops Kaveri from welcoming Mukti. Kaveri alerts Vidya. Vidya is against Mukti. She asks Myra to understand that if Mukti comes back, Abhira will ignore her like she did eight years ago. Arman asks Vidya why she is discussing the past. Vidya says it is important to discuss, or else Abhira will do the same thing again. Madhav enters and exposes Vidya. He reveals to Arman how Vidya sent custody papers to Abhira on Arman’s behalf. Madhav asks Abhira to reveal the truth. Abhira reveals that Vidya sent the custody papers. Madhav exposes Kajal and Vidya. Arman gets shocked.
Kaveri says Vidya cannot be so evil. Vidya confesses that she deliberately separated Arman and Abhira to protect Myra. She says Abhira was busy raising Mukti, so she separated her. Vidya claims that as a mother she was right. Kaveri feels disgusted by Vidya’s plan. She says Vidya wanted to control Arman, and that is why she separated Abhira. Kaveri says Vidya has ruined Arman’s life. Arman is stunned to learn the truth. Myra is also shocked to learn Vidya’s truth. The episode ends here.

Vidya thinks that a son cannot disown his mother. Arman breaks his ties with Vidya. Vidya says Abhira has manipulated Arman. Arman says to reach Abhira, Vidya will have to go through him. He demands Vidya leave their house and let them live in peace.
Our Take:
This episode is very engaging because it finally shows Vidya getting exposed. It was needed. Now it will be interesting to watch if Vidya will leave the house silently or if she will poison Myra’s mind against Abhira before leaving. We are left wondering: will Myra turn against Abhira because of Vidya, or will she fail Vidya’s plan? Will Vidya curse Abhira that her daughters will disown her too? Is Abhira’s separation from Mukti and Myra another track? Only time will tell.
