The Poddar family's journey through Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been very emotional and dramatic. Abhira has confronted a situation that needed a tough decision. She chooses to relocate to her father's place, Saubhagya Bhavan. The only thing she cares about is being with Dadi Sa and persuading her to come back.
This relocation makes the atmosphere at the Poddar residence even more uncomfortable.
Abhira and Armaan have a very touching moment before a short separation that is only temporary. As a symbol of their love, they exchange personal things. Abhira tears a part of her sari and gives it to Armaan as a token of love. Armaan, on the other hand, gives her his handkerchief so that she can keep it.
Armaan is the only one to go back to the Poddar house and this news stuns everyone. Vidya is especially very upset with Abhira and thus she blames her for not thinking of Myra.
The most unexpected event comes when Myra makes her way to Saubhagya Bhavan too. The young girl has decided that she would be with Abhira and Dadi Sa. This choice that she made surprises Abhira and she is very happy because of it.
On the other hand, Vidya gets a scolding from Kajal. Kajal mocks Vidya for being the reason for the family's breaking apart. She foresees that Vidya will have the same kind of problems in the future.
Sanjay opens up to Vidya about the worries he has regarding their son Krish. He thinks that Krish is too reckless to be trusted with their care in old age. So he comes up with the idea that first, they should take care of their share of property and money.
The scene is then changed to an emotional moment between mother and daughter. Abhira and Myra are performing the evergreen "Dadi amma maan jao na" song. They are determined to cheer up Dadi Sa and bring her back home.
Parts of the show reveal that Abhira and Vidya might soon have another heated discussion. The fight is about Myra's custody and hence, it is indicative that more trouble is coming.
