In the ne'er-do-well family drama of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 (Reboot), Tulsi's heartbreaking plea for just one meal together with Mihir is the theme which runs through the movie and reminds us that love doesn't need big gestures, it only needs to spend some time together.
Nonetheless, with the impending wedding and the secrets kept, it gets far from easy. The episode starts with the continuation of the argument that took place at Shanti Niwas. Tulsi accuses Mihir of using the plan to put all the property in her name as a way to manipulate her emotionally. "Mihir, I don't need papers, I want us to go on a date like we used to, "she says with her face lit up with expectation.
Mihir is not sure what to do, he talks to himself about their mature children and that Pari's wedding will make romance a thing of the past.
Tulsi leaves the scene with a heavy heart and he remains looking at those papers, obviously in a dilemma. What happens later that day is nothing but the next morning, and a couple of uninvited guests shake things up Ranvijay and his parents come to Shanti Niwas, full of joy over their pandit ji giving the go-ahead for Pari and Ranvijay's wedding... only 4 days away! Shobha, on the other hand, is not left behind and she plays her astrologer card too.
The family expert turns to look at Ranvijay's stars and gives a shocking prediction: the groom should not be tying the mangalsutra for 20 days otherwise he will have bad luck. Pari is agreeing, hiding that she is over the moon to have more time for the planning. No one among them suspects that Tulsi and Shobha had this planned out to find out whether Ranvijay is serious or just pretending.
On the other side of the chawl, sad Angad is being mocked by a couple of gossiping aunties who are calling him a "ghar jamai" because he is living with Vrinda's family. His sister-in-law is slamming the door with rage but Vrinda is supporting him like a rock. At the same time, Noina's sister asks her questions about the secret meet might it be to tryst with Mihir once again? Noina acts as if nothing happened and runs.
Now, we see a relaxed garden conversation between Pari and Mitali, who are drinking nariyal pani. Mitali makes a dramatic lament about a perfect couple while explaining to Pari her dissatisfaction with Angad's inability to get a job. While on the phone with Ranvijay, she is trying to make him feel better by suggesting he meet more friends, but Mitali isn't having it and quickly retorts, insulting the boys from the chawl.
Pari intervenes and tells her that she should not look down on others. When Angad is feeling sorry for himself due to yet another refusal, Vrinda reminds him that life is not a competition. The episode ends on that note which is both cheerful and sad, with the family bonds becoming weaker.
Precap: Mihir comes across Noina's secret plan for a wedding which is only to get him back. As for Ranvijay, he is scheming to come to live at Shanti Niwas without Angad knowing. So, what's the next scandal? Find it out tomorrow!
