The depictions of family bonds in the tear-jerking story arcs of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai have never been more dramatic. Kaveri s stubborn refusal to change her mind shakes the Poddar family to such a degree that the episode is all about it. Abhira and Armaan, in their desperation, are moving characters trying to convince Dadi to come back home.
Everything is happening in the Saubhagya Bhavan where Kaveri is being interrogated by Abhira and Armaan whether she really meant what she did. "Don t you see, Kaveri ji, that it is the family who need you? Please come back," Abhira implores while on the other hand, Armaan is apprehensive about her living alone in that big house. This is my place and I can take care of myself," she retorts ushering them out. Even adorable Myra is pulling on her heartstrings saying, "Dadi, please come home I promise I ll be good!" Abhira voices over her, reminding her of the little one, who after all these hard times, needs her the most.
Nevertheless, Kaveri is still unwavering and her stare is as cold as steel. Situation gets escalated when Vidya rushes in with the intent not to apologize but to rebuke Kaveri for her "cowardly" exit. "If Ma is having a fight, you don t run away, you face it. Run away won t solve the problem, Ma! I m a daughter and I know how a mother should face the situation," Vidya retorts.
Kaveri retorting: "You were playing the diva and embarrassing us, and now you re calling me mother? After all I got was blame!" The quarrel between mother and daughter gets very intense with Vidya yelling, "Without you, we will be better off," and Kaveri mimicking, "I feel the same take that door and leave!" Abhira steps in trying to bring peace, but it s futile, as the scars are too deep.
In the meantime, Kiara s life turns upside down with a secret bombshell she s going to be a mother! In a fanciful flash, she envisions telling Abhir the truth, visualizing his elated hug and him giving vows for marriage.
