ZEE5 reveals the digital premiere date of its pet detective, The Pet Detective, is all set to spice up your screens on November 28. The movie, with a main keyword "The Pet Detective," is an absolute riot and will take you through a funny, crazy, and fast-moving story that is a perfect combination of family entertainment and comedy fans from anywhere in the world.
Directed by Praneesh Vijayan, Garu Sharaf U Dheen leads the cast, and the project is the first production of his wherein he is the producer. In addition to him, a remarkable team of actors like Vinayakan, Vinay Forrt, Anupama Parameswaran, Shyam Mohan, and Joemon Jyothir are contributing their talents to the film’s laughter-filled and uproarious story.
The film centers on Tony Jose Alula (Sharaf U Dheen), an underdog detective with grit and spirit but not much success. When Tony decides to investigate a pet disappearance, it escalates to be a hilarious adventure with international smugglers, kidnappers, a lost child, a Mexican mafia boss, exotic fish, and even a police inspector who is also after the same girl! The filmmakers assure a high-voltage entertainer packed with surprises, and comedic mayhem reminiscent of a Priyadarshan-style climax.
Sharaf U Dheen confesses, “The Pet Detective, apart from being a film I acted in, is very dear to my heart as it marks my debut as a producer. We made this film with a view that the audience would simply laugh with it, without getting into the depth of it. The film is mad, bright, and loving.
