The latest episode of the beloved series Jhanak was quite the rollercoaster with lots of surprises and heartfelt reunions. It opened with Jhanak witnessing a man going into Rishi's house.
Without a moment's hesitation, she labeled him as a thief. Jhanak, whose roots were in the village, was a bit off in her judgment of the city ways. She didn't allow the man to escape and decided it was her mission to stop the crime in action.
The man she had tied up was not willing to play along with her story. He declared himself as Dritimaan. Dritimaan is Rishi's relative from a far-off branch of the family tree. Jhanak was in a total perplexity state.
On the other hand, the family saw that some guests were not at the party. They were also making plans for a celebration.
To the astonishment of the crowd, Dritimaan began to utter the sweet 'Mitwaa' song. It was a lovely tune, and Jhanak, who was completely off her hand, could not take her eyes off him. Shortly thereafter, the domestic help informed the family about the "thief" incident. Rishi and the gang went out to see what was happening.
Rishi, on witnessing the person in chains, shouted his name: "Dritimaan!" Jhanak and Aditi couldn't believe their eyes and ears after this revelation. Emotions ran so high throughout the whole family that they could hardly contain them.
It was only the long time ago that they saw their dear Dritimaan. Dritimaan and his family were like peas in a pod once more. Dadabhai and Indumati embracing him, laughing and crying together.
Surjeet inquired Dritimaan about what he did and where he was during his disappearance.
Elsewhere Kanka was telling Parashar to visit the doctor if he had a fever. Parashar, on the other hand, was not taking her words seriously.
At the police station, the inspector who was in charge of Parashar's case was being berated for not being able to locate him. Soon, Lochan was on the phone with the officer. He was giving a detailed account of Parashar's whereabouts.
