The immensely popular melodrama Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai continued with a lot of emotional scenes. Ruhi was begging Armaan to celebrate their anniversary through a thousand ways.
Armaan, however, was not swayed and decided to go ahead with his plan of not participating. He was really down due to how things had turned out lately. Ruhi couldn’t help but feel sad because of his repeated no’s, so she went to her room and cried.
Kajal, on the other hand, was utterly distraught with her solitude. Manoj came to her rescue, assuring her that he would be her pillar of support. He comforted her by saying that everything would turn out well.
On the other side of the town, Abhira and Ruhi were having a heated argument. Ruhi blamed Abhira for the break-up with Armaan. Abhira wanted to clear her side of the story. She insisted that she was not deliberately hurting anyone.
The following day, the Poddar family came together for a ritual. Manisha, aware of the tensed atmosphere, prayed for tranquility. At the same time, Ruhi saw Armaan asleep on the couch.
She took the liberty to cover him warmly with a blanket. Abhira was nearby the sofa, as Ruhi saw through the window. This again led to a heated argument between the two women.
Abhira’s presence at the place was an interrogation for Ruhi. She thought that Abhira must have been cooking up some nasty plot. Quite shocked, Ruhi could hear Abhira blatantly confessing her love for Arman in the most touching manner.
A completely stunned Ruhi couldn't do anything but to be floored by this unexpected declaration. The scene ended with Ruhi struggling to comprehend the confession and wondering what it means for their relationship.
