Today’s episode of Jhanak was seriously intense right from the start. It kicks off with Aditi totally cornering Rishi. She's upset and basically asking if he even cares if she stays in the house, while Jhanak seems to be welcome anytime.
Honestly, you can see Rishi is just done with the drama. He snaps back, telling her he won't take her threats anymore and that she’s free to go to her father's place if she’s so unhappy. Sanjhbati tries to step in to defend Jhanak’s character, but the hospital nurse has to shut them all up because they’re making way too much noise.
The story then shifts to Parashar, who is really worried about Jhanak. Even though she introduces him to Dritimaan and Sanjhbati, Parashar isn’t buying the "nice city people" act. He’s scared for her safety and wants her to come back to the village.
The tension between him and Aniruddh is so thick you could cut it with a knife. Parashar basically calls Aniruddh out for being a failure as a father. He reminds everyone that Nutan never begged for anything and that Jhanak is a fighter. It’s pretty bold how he tells Aniruddh that his true face will be exposed soon.
Things get even messier when Arshi starts instigating, blaming everything on Aniruddh bringing Nutan back from Kashmir. Aniruddh, being his usual manipulative self, asks Rishi if he wants to marry Jhanak just to deflect. It’s wild how he tries to claim Jhanak is only after his wealth.
But the real bombshell drops when Parashar mentions Aniruddh’s marriage to Nutan and their night in Simulboni. Jhanak stands tall, ready to fight for her rights, while Rishi promises to protect her, even as Aditi gets more and more furious.
Meanwhile, there’s a whole police investigation happening regarding that fire accident. Putul is convinced it was an attempted murder, while Neelu tries to brush it off because Jhanak is "just a maid." The inspector isn't fooled, though; he thinks there’s a clear motive to harm her.
Neelu even calls Aniruddh to warn him that he’s the prime suspect now. The episode ends on a massive cliffhanger with Jhanak speaking to journalists. She looks them right in the eye and says Aniruddh is her father, and she’s ready for a DNA test to prove he betrayed her mother. It's going to be a total explosion in the next episode.
