Today’s episode of Anupama starts with a lot of tension in the air. I mean, Anupama is always on high alert, right? She catches Ishani coming in late and immediately starts questioning her. Honestly, Ishani is such a smooth talker. She makes up this whole story about fighting with a girl named Piya and how she was just out there standing up for herself because she wants to be the lead.
Anupama isn’t totally convinced, though. She literally tells her she’ll bring out the broom if she finds her sneaking around again. Ishani thinks she’s so clever for fooling her, but you can tell Anupama’s motherly instincts are tingling.
Then we see Raja. My heart actually sank a bit seeing him sleeping on a bench outside. Anupama finds him there and gets all emotional, bringing him a blanket and a pillow. He’s talking in his sleep about never leaving Pari, which is just so sweet but also sad. Anupama realize she has to fix things for them.
But while Anupama is being kind, Rajini is having straight-up nightmares. She’s terrified Anupama will find out the truth. She’s talking to Parag about this big project, and it’s clear she’s playing a dangerous game. Parag is nervous too; he doesn't want any trouble with the chawl residents, but Rajini just keeps insisting she has Anupama right where she wants her.
There’s this really heavy scene where Bharti talks about how her own father got cheated back in their village. The sarpanch made him sign some papers he didn't understand. This really hits home for Anupama. It’s like a massive warning bell going off in her head.
You can see her face change—she’s worried the same thing might happen to her people in the chawl. Even with that fear, she ends up being given the official signing authority by everyone in the chawl. They trust her so much, and it’s honestly a lot of pressure.
The episode ends on a really stressful note. Rajini is basically calling Anupama her "pawn" behind her back. It’s so frustrating to watch! She’s planning to use Anupama to get the chawl land.
Then there’s Ishani again, showing off some new card and acting all high and mighty about status. Anupama gives her a final warning, basically saying that if she finds out anything shady about Kiara or what Ishani is up to, she won’t spare her.
The preview for tomorrow looks even more intense because Rajini is going to push Anupama to sign those English papers. I just hope Anupama doesn't rush into it!
