Today's episode of Jhanak was honestly such a heavy one to watch. It kicked off with so much tension in the house, mostly centered around Tanushri lashing out at Rishi. She didn't hold back at all, basically accusing him of losing his character because of Jhanak.
It's wild how people are so quick to judge, right? She even went as far as calling Jhanak selfish and greedy, saying she's just trying to snatch Aditi's place. Jhanak, poor soul, tried to defend herself by reminding everyone that she never asked for anything and being poor doesn't make her a bad person. Rishi, being the rock he is, stepped in to calm her down and promised to stand by her no matter what.
The next morning, the domestic drama continued. There was this whole argument about Jhanak doing too much housework when she should be focusing on her studies. Dadabhai and Dritimaan were on her side, but Neelu and the others were just making things difficult.
Abhimanyu even made a nasty comment about her coming in as a maid and wanting to be a queen. It's just constant taunting, honestly. But the real bomb dropped when a letter arrived. Rishi opened it and revealed it was a court notice covering three big things: the fire accident, the DNA test, and the signature fraud.
Over at Aniruddh's place, things were just as heated. He showed the notice to Aditi, and Arshi was already fuming, calling it a "gift" from Rishi. Aniruddh seems pretty confident, or maybe he's just acting like it, thinking Jhanak won't be able to afford a good lawyer.
He's definitely underestimating her. Arshi is worried though, because Rishi is a police officer and has connections. It's like a giant chess match at this point.
Back at the house, the emotional climax really hit when Jhanak broke down. She told Neelu that it's not easy to fight a legal battle against your own father. Hearing her say that her father's rejection is a pain too deep to describe... man, that was tough.
Dadabhai ended up hugging her to comfort her, which was a sweet moment in such a chaotic episode. It ends with Rishi getting ready to take her to meet a lawyer, prepping her for the tough questions coming her way. It feels like the real storm is just about to start.
