The episode starts with a grand celebration planned to mark 5000 episodes of the Poddar and Goenka journey. Abhira and Armaan step on the stage to conduct the celebration. They talk about love, family and second chances with deep personal insight.
Abhira goes on stage with the help of the flashbacks and impersonates each one of them: Akshara and Naitik, Naira and Kartik, and Akshara and Abhimanyu. She says how these couples taught acceptance and strength thru their own ways. The audience and family are all touched and are getting teary-eyed with these old memories being brought back to life.
Kaveri and Vidya are observing Abhira from their seats. Kaveri is thinking about her own decisions that were very strict and how it created a distance between them. Vidya is feeling proud but unfortunately, her regret for hurting Abhira is still with her.
Abhira takes the opportunity of this event to repair the broken relationships. She has each elder share small stories about their journeys. Gradually, the place gets filled with laughter, tears, and sincere confessions. The younger ones realize how much sacrifice has been made to build this family.
While the function was going on, there were some technical problems with the projector. Tension escalates and sparks an argument between Vidya and Dadisa. The old skirmishes and that angry feeling which has been hidden for a long time all come out in front of everyone. Abhira is in a state of disbelief as her plan which was supposed to be happy, gets shaken badly.
In support of Abhira, Armaan asks both women to calm down. Abhira still keeps the mike in her hand and is not willing to finish the event in a bitter way. She tells everyone that their life is not flawless but the relationship is what matters most. Many hearts are touched by her speech.
Before the last scene of the episode, Abhira is seen standing alone beside the photo of Akshara. She weeps for her mother but assures that she is going to carry the legacy. This emotional vow is the main idea of the episode, new beginnings as well as tougher challenges ahead.
