Today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins on a very somber note. Arman is in deep with guilt and Abhira has been there in full support of him. She tells him that they will fight this battle together to bring back the firm, which will avenge their family’s honor. But on top of worrying about the firm, Arman is worried that the whole world is going to crash down on him.
Now, he tells Abhira to take care of the affairs in Poddar house so that he could concentrate on the firm and the things Krish has taken away from them. Abhira, ever the rock for him, agreed but with a reminder that Krish is the one to blame, not him. Arman can’t shake his torturous conscience past him. He is angry with Krish for the firm sale behind everyone’s back and wants to amend the damages.
Back in the house, it was not quiet either. Kiara had served sweets to Myra and Surekha, but Surekha casually compares her with Charu, which leaves Kiara stunned. It’s the classic scene where we see the flash of confusion on her face—what did she do to deserve that? Meanwhile, Abhira, Vidya, and Manisha are planning Kaveri’s care.
Myra senses Abhira’s restlessness and inquires whether everything is fine; however, Abhira changes the subject, suggesting to include Myra and Kiara for the ceremony. Nevertheless, Kiara is not fooled. She knows for sure that something is wrong, but nobody is telling her what it is.
Then we have Krish, whom Tanya is telling to leave, dragging him while causing hell. But Krish will never take this insult lying down; you ought to know him well enough by now. Back in the office, Arman and Manoj met with Ahuja, current custodian of their family firm. A staggering demand of ₹85 crores. Arman is aghast; however, without hesitation, with all the attitude, he agrees to pay, even if it means putting together the last rupee in instalments. Manoj is skeptical, asking how they would even make the first payment. Simple—Arman does not know but will somehow figure it out. The firm is non-negotiable.
Abhira is back home and already initiating a plan. She makes up her mind to sell off her ornaments, ones she has cherished for years, each one endowed with memories she cannot bear to let go. Selling it hurts her too much. She asks Vidya and Manisha to do likewise, but she is not so sure if they would agree.
However, when Vidya and Manisha come back in the room, they not only agree but hand over their jewellery without a single thought. Even Sanjay joins in, stating that Kajal has already retrieved hers from the bank, knowing Arman would need it. There is a mix of profound sorrow and determination found in the room. Sanjay breaks down, cursing himself for Krish’s upbringing, while Abhira, Vidya, and Manisha are quick to console him. Tanya also adds her jewellery to the pile.
But the real shocker was when Arman comes home. He sees the women without jewellery and immediately knows what has happened. Abhira tells him they value the firm more than their sentimental attachments, but Arman refuses to accept their sacrifice. Vidya and Abhira, however, stand firm in their decision.
Then came the bombshell: Manoj tells everyone that it is ₹85 crores on the deal, while Krish had sold it for only ₹5 crores. Abhira is dumbstruck.
The episode ends on the cliffhanger with the precap promising things will get worse. Abhira hears about a wealthy girl who murdered some innocent poor girl. It seems the girl will be free thanks to her family influence.
A shadowy figure approaches Arman, giving him an almost blank cheque to save his daughter, bringing the Unbearable thought in Abhira’s head that Arman is stepping into something even more dangerous than they had perceived.
