Jhanak Written Update – 7 January 2026 – Latest Episode Aditi Poisoned As Jhanak Gets Blamed

The episode begins with an uncomfortable, heavy vibe in the house, and we felt the tension was just waiting to explode. It starts with Mishti picking on Jhanak, claiming she can't do a single thing right. It's frustrating to watch because Jhanak has been working hard, even earning praise for her tea from the elders.

Aditi arrives with her parents, and you can feel the awkwardness in the room immediately. Arshi pushes Aditi to cooperate with Aniruddh while the rest of the household endeavors to put on a happy face for the guests. Our observation is that Aniruddh is playing a very dark game right now.

While others talk about rituals and expensive necklaces, he's secretly plotting how to punish Jhanak before any court can give a verdict. It's quite chilling. There is a big debate about where Jhanak belongs, with Rishi insisting she is his responsibility.

This rubs Aditi the wrong way. While Jhanak endeavors to explain it was just about the case, nobody seems to believe her. She even brings up seeing them together at a restaurant holding hands, making the air thick with suspicion.

Dhritimaan suggests they start the celebration, so Jhanak brings out juice for everyone. We believe this was the exact turning point of the day. Aniruddh, thinking he's being clever, slips a pill into a glass he intends for Jhanak.

Things go sideways fast when Aditi ends up picking up the spiked drink instead. Aniruddh realizes what's happening and tries to stop her, but he's too late. Aditi takes a sip, begins feeling dizzy, and collapses.

It was a frantic scene, and the house turned into total chaos in seconds. The blame game starts immediately and is heart-wrenching. Arshi points her finger right at Jhanak, accusing her of trying to kill Aditi to get Rishi for herself.

Even though Jhanak is crying and swearing she didn't do anything, the family is already turning against her. Rishi is caught in the middle, trying to be logical by collecting a juice sample for testing, but he is starting to doubt Jhanak too.

By the end of the episode, Jhanak is basically forced to pack her bags because the family is scared of a police investigation. It's a sad closing seeing her so isolated. We are left wondering how she will ever prove her innocence now.
