The 23rd April 2026 episode of Jhanak begins with Jhanak asking senior intern Anantita to stop the nurse for the patient's sake. Anantita says Jhanak can't become an expert just by getting good marks in exams. Jhanak asks, "When did she say that?" And Anantita did wrong. The doctor comes there and says he heard the patient is unstable. Anantita tells him that it's not possible to work with Jhanak. She says Jhanak is giving order to her. She shows the medicine that she gave to the patient. Jhanak tells the doctor that the patient should be given a mild dose only. But Anantita changed the dose. The doctor sees the report and says he will handle the patient. He tells Anantita that she did wrong by changing the dose. He tells Jhanak to continue the previous medicine. Jhanak tells him that she will stay with the patient. Anantita leaves from there angrily. The doctor appreciates Jhanak.
Later, Jhanak asks Payal to tell in front of everyone what's bothering the latter. And why Payal's mood is off. Indumati says they understand Payal is sad because Surojit did not come for puja. But he went for work, so it's fine. Payal says she will go to her mother's house if they force her like this then. Sanjhbati asks why Payal let Surojit go if the latter can't stay without Surojit then. Dritimaan asks Payal what the matter is. Payal tells them everything is fine. Sanjhbati says nothing is fine. Payal cries. Jhanak says she can't see Payal like this. Payal says she is sad. Indumati says she will talk to Surojit. Payal asks Indumati not to do that. Tanushri asks why Payal is in pain. Sanjhbati says Payal is hiding something from them definitely.
Indumati asks Payal to tell the truth to them. Putul says they can't enjoy if Payal's mood is off then. Dritimaan tells Payal that Surojit will return in 5 months. Payal tells him Surojit won't return. And he is planning to take citizenship there. Indumati says she will talk to Dadabhai. Tanushri says Surojit has responsibility towards this family, so they will question Surojit. Jhanak says Surojit can't take this big decision alone. Payal says Surojit won't return no matter what.
On the other side, Aditi says she will get ready. Aniruddh tells her that he complicated his life with his decisions. Arshi tells Aditi that she wants to apologize to Jhanak. But she doesn't think anyone will forgive her. She says she is sick. Aniruddh says let's visit the doctor. Arshi tells him she doesn't want to live now. And she is getting punished for her sins. Aditi thinks Jhanak ruined everything. And she will teach a lesson to Jhanak.
Arshi asks Aditi to call Koushik. Aditi says she doesn't want Koushik's sympathy. And she is not interested in marriage now. She tells Aniruddh to get ready. Arshi tells Aditi to tell Aniruddh to eat something. Aniruddh says he doesn't want it because he had a heavy breakfast. He goes inside. The episode ends.

Aditi and Koushik see Rishi and Jhanak celebrating Holi. Rishi asks where Dadabhai is. Jhanak says Dadabhai must be in his room because he is grumpy. Rishi warns her not to talk like that about Dadabhai. He refuses to bless Jhanak, saying he doesn't like all this. Indumati asks how Rishi can talk to Jhanak like this just because he remembers Aditi.
Our Take:
Aditi is back to a villain role. She should leave the city to move on. Arshi looks suspicious because she is not a person who can become good just like that. Rishi's behavior towards Jhanak is odd. What happened to Rishi? Why did Indumati say that?
