The 27th April 2026 episode of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi starts with Karan telling Niyati he has a meeting. Rio tells Niyati to tell papa to go. Then Rio asks Karan to take him, but Karan tells Rio to stay with his mother. Rio listens to Karan and decides to stay with Maa. Rio closes the door and tries to convince Niyati. Rio tells Niyati he is ready to eat anything.
Mihir sees the weather is not good. Sobha asks him where Mumma is. Mihir tells Sobha he is also worried for Tulsi, and then Sobha calls Tulsi. Tulsi starts crying and she doesn't know what to say to her. Tulsi picks up the phone and she tells Sobha she is coming back home. Mihir asks Tulsi about her location and says he is coming to pick her up. Tulsi tells Mihir she will manage herself. Mihir tells Sobha her mumma is fine. Mihir thinks that Tulsi will be with Karan, and just then Pari comes to talk to Mihir.
Pari tells Sobha to stay. Pari reminds Mihir about their suggestions to move on in her life, so she has decided to think about Garima's future. Pari tells Mihir she is ready to marry, and Mihir asks Pari about Aryan. Pari tells Mihir she is ready to marry Aryan if he wants. Mihir tells Pari that Aryan will also say yes. Sobha is impressed with Gautam.
Tulsi thinks about Ansh and she starts crying. Tulsi remembers that Ansh's last word was "Maa". Karan comes to meet Tulsi and Tulsi asks him to stop. Tulsi asks Karan who that boy is. Karan tells Tulsi that he is Ansh's son. This shakes Tulsi with shock because the boy is Reyansh, Ansh's son. Tulsi cannot believe it and she refuses to accept it. Karan says that Ansh had two marriages and the second wife is Niyati. Karan tells Tulsi he is not lying to her and he always loved Nandini. Tulsi tells Karan she has seen him in the picture and Rio calls him father. Tulsi tells Karan to speak the truth, and Karan tells Tulsi he has never lied to her.
Karan tells Tulsi about a lady's accident from his car. Karan gets a phone from the lady's bag. Karan doesn't know how to get the information, and just then he gets a call. Karan learns she is Niyati Oberoi, and Niyati's friend comes to see her. Karan learns that Niyati is suffering from depression and that she also has a child. Karan learns that Niyati's partner has died and his name is Ansh Gujral. Karan learns that Niyati cannot contact Ansh, and Karan asks her to show him Ansh's picture. Karan is shocked to see Ansh Gujral, and the lady asks Karan if he knows him. The doctor tells Karan that Niyati is out of danger and her friend goes to see Niyati.
Niyati asks for her husband and tells Karan to call her husband. The lady tells Niyati that her husband is dead, and Niyati starts screaming. The doctor comes to control Niyati after many days. Karan learns from a doctor it is a mental stroke or breakdown. The doctor tells Karan that Niyati has lost her memory and she should not learn any shocking news. The next day, Karan goes to meet Niyati and sees Rio sitting beside her. Karan sees that Niyati is telling Rio that he is his dad, and small Rio hugs Karan. Karan was helpless at that time, and he became Rio's father and Niyati's husband. The episode ends.

This episode is full of big surprises. The reveal about Ansh having a second wife and a son, Reyansh, is a huge twist. Karan's backstory of how he became a pretend husband to Niyati is very emotional and shows his good heart. Tulsi’s shock and tears feel very real. The precap adds more tension with Mihir finding out the truth, and Tulsi facing her past mistake. The story is getting very interesting and complicated for the Virani family.
