The 21st April 2026 episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Abhira thinking about not being able to prove Myra’s innocence in court. Lately, she has realized that she is not a good lawyer. Abhira thinks she has failed as a lawyer and as a mother. She says that she will not be able to fight Myra’s case. Arman meets Abhira. He says eight years ago Myra needed Abhira, and today she needs her too. Abhira calls herself a loser. Arman encourages Abhira to fight Myra’s case. Abhira says she cannot fight Myra’s case because she is a failed mother. Arman tries to make Abhira realize that she is the best lawyer and asks her to fight back.
A big moment happens when Abhira asks Arman why he wants Myra to lose the case. Arman asks Abhira to sign the papers and fight the case. Abhira asks Arman why he is pushing her. She says she is a bad mother and a bad lawyer. Abhira asks Arman to fight Myra’s case and bring her out from the remand room. She says Myra needs comfort, trust, and understanding. Abhira asks Arman to go to Myra and bring her back. Arman remembers how he destroyed his family in the past. He encourages Abhira to fight Myra’s case. He says today Myra needs both her parents, so they cannot simply give up. Abhira says she is just a mechanic now and not a lawyer. Arman says Abhira is wrong, because every mother is a lawyer for her child. He shares how mother Yashoda used to defend Lord Krishna. Arman says how Goddess Parvati fought with Lord Shiva for Lord Ganesh. He says every mother has defended her child since childhood. Arman pleads with Abhira to fight Myra’s case.
Meanwhile, Myra thinks the whole day passed and neither Abhira nor Arman came to see her. Then Abhira calls out to Myra. Myra hugs Abhira tightly. Arman and Mukti see Abhira and Myra together. Abhira says she thought Myra would be angry that she failed to get her bail. Myra asks why she would be angry when she can see Abhira’s hard work towards her case. She says that even while injured, Abhira is still fighting her case. Abhira thanks Myra for trusting her. Mukti asks Arman to click a picture of Abhira and Myra. She says after many years, Abhira is happy with Myra.
Arman apologizes to Mukti for his mistake. Mukti says Arman should not apologize as he did not do anything intentionally. Arman hugs Mukti. He says Mukti is like Abhira. Mukti says no one can be like Abhira.
The episode reaches its peak when Vidya worries about Arman. Madhav says Arman might be traveling, thus his mobile is unreachable. Kaveri says after so long, Arman is on the right path. She orders Aryan to bring a surprise. Vidya asks Kaveri what the surprise is. She asks if Kaveri does not worry about Arman. Kaveri says Arman is back.
The episode ends with Vidya asking Arman if he told Myra that he is fighting her case. Arman says Abhira will fight Myra’s case. Kaveri gives a toffee to Arman. Aryan tells Disha that Kaveri’s toffee is not less than any medal. Kaveri says now Akshay Tritiya has become auspicious in the true sense.

Abhira wonders if neither she nor Arman made the custody papers of Myra, then who is behind it. Kajal confronts Vidya about separating Abhira and Arman eight years ago. Abhira learns that Vidya separated her and Arman.
Our Take:
This episode is very emotional because Arman beautifully encourages Abhira to fight for Myra. The upcoming track seems hopeful. Abhira now learns Vidya’s truth and should bring it to Arman’s notice instead of hiding it. Hopefully, Abhira will expose Vidya this time.
