The 9th May 2026 episode of Udne ke Asha starts with the lawyer telling the Deshmukh family that court proceedings are not easy, and now it is not just Tejas’s case but the whole family’s case. He asks them to answer only what they are questioned about. They agree. Savitri tells Paresh to control his emotions as he is one of the witnesses. She says the victim is Tejas, and the main witnesses are Sayali and Sachin. She adds that the case will move forward based on their statements, so they should keep their statements true and to the point. She also warns them not to change their statements even if the opposite lawyer pressures them. Sachin says they are speaking the truth, so their statements will not change.
The lawyer asks Tejas if he still talks to Kalyani / Roshni. Tejas lies and says no. The lawyer says it is good to stay away from her. Renuka asks the lawyer to help them get rid of Roshni soon. The lawyer says it will happen with time and leaves.
Paresh’s mother comes home. Everyone is surprised to see her. She scolds them for not informing her about what is happening in the house. The family members try to calm her down, but she scolds them. Paresh says he hid the matter because he did not want her health to get affected. She says she is his mother and should be a part of both the family’s happiness and sadness. Renuka says she is glad that she found out and that she was going to tell her the truth anyway. Paresh’s mother asks if she was planning to tell her only after the divorce and after the news got published in newspapers. She says the family will get exhausted going to court, and she regrets carelessly putting all the family responsibilities on Renuka.
She asks Sayali why she did not inform her. Sayali says she was worried about her health. Paresh’s mother asks them to stop talking about her health and instead tell her what is happening at home, the truth about Roshni, and everything else going on. Sayali exposes Roshni’s betrayal of Tejas to Savitri. Savitri gets shocked and says Roshni is very cunning and that Tejas’s condition is because of Renuka. Renuka says she always wanted the best for Tejas, but instead she ruined his life. Savitri says that at first sight itself she felt Roshni looked like the mother of a child, but Renuka was blinded. Renuka cries.
Savitri says Renuka always loved one son and daughter-in-law more while ignoring her other son, Sachin. Sachin defends his mother and says the one at fault is Roshni, not Renuka. Savitri consoles Tejas and asks him to stay strong during this tough time. She praises Sachin for defending Renuka and supporting the family. Renuka cries. Savitri says it is now time for them to get justice. The episode ends.

Our Take:
The episode emotionally showed the pain and guilt within the Deshmukh family after Roshni’s betrayal came out. Savitri’s entry brought strength and reality checks for everyone, while Sachin won hearts by standing beside his mother despite her mistakes. The upcoming courtroom battle between Roshni and the Deshmukh family looks intense and full of drama, making the next episodes very interesting. We wonder: Will the court expose Roshni’s real face?
