It was a rollercoaster of emotions life lessons and family drama—which summed up the last episode of Anupamaa. Our sweet Anupamaa took the dance queens, Preet and Bharti, to the chawl with the news of good things and a fresh start for the gang.
But the tranquility was short-lived because when Anupamaa brought her granddaughters, Ishani and Pari, to stay with Preet and Bharti, the girls, who were accustomed to their opulent lifestyle, got a shock of their lives! In her typical teacher manner, Anupamaa is resolute in her decision to make the girls self-reliant.
The girls upon requesting a bath are met with Anupamaa's refusal to help them except that they have to carry their own water buckets—a very easy task which leaves them dumbfounded! The girls complain of the chawl being a "matchbox," but Preet, with his calm and silent strength, explains their simple life in a nice way.
Furthermore, Bharti openly announces to the world that she has finally purchased the house. Anupamaa is very touched performing a little puja and getting emotional when she sees her name on the new nameplate of the family.
This act seals her deep connection with Preet and Bharti who regard her as their family and attribute her continuous support as the reason for their dream coming true.
Besides that, a family issue happens as Rahi chooses to study further. Rahi stands strong against all odds when her admission form goes missing. The matter gets worse when Vasundhara and Mahi, pretending to be nice, come and mock Rahi about her illiteracy.
On the side of love for each other characters, we see a lovely scene where the protective and caring family members i.e. Prem, Parag, and Khyati come to Rahi's rescue thus providing her with the necessary support to achieve her dreams.
The episode ends with a positive note about Anupamaa, who is headed towards a new journey—arriving at a movie set where the director is seen welcoming her in a friendly manner. It seems like Anupamaa's path is going to be more dramatic and glamorous from now onwards!
