Kareena Kapoor Picks a Side? Actress Reacts To ‘Robbery’ Claims In ₹30,000 Crore Estate War

Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor Khan with a single click has gone subtly against a massive family controversy. The actress has in an appearance thrown her former sister-in-law Mandhira Kapur Smith’s legal battle support over the wicked fight of the huge late Sunjay Kapur’s estate weight behind.

This saga is about the massive ₹30,000 crore fortune left behind by Sunjay, who was ex-husband to the eldest daughter of the Kapoor family, Karisma Kapoor. After Sunjay's sudden demise, his assets became the main rival turf of his wife, Priya Sachdev, and the other side's legal teams.

The point where the scandal started was an angry and aggressive video of Mandhira Kapur Smith, Sunjay’s sister, at her recording for InControversial podcast. In the snippet, Mandhira did not mince her words, describing the case at hand as "pure robbery" and "major fraud" instances. She mocked the legitimacy of the will and accused the widow of Sunjay outright, promising to fight to the end for her family's heritage.

Mandhira was furious enough to utter the words: "If these people think that we are not aware of our own bloodline, they should reconsider." She then said, "Shame on her... This is what you call major theft... major fraud."

The moment the viral and sensational video was shared, Kareena Kapoor Khan went publicly and clicked the 'like' button on the post. Even though she didn’t comment with words, that one single move was interpreted by the whole film fraternity as a loud voice to be in unison with Mandhira and her accusation of Priya Sachdev.

This is the latest, dramatic twist turn, in the Kapur clan’s dodge publicly, which started after Karisma and Sunjay’s crashing 2016 divorce. With Kareena’s mute gesture, the story which was a private downfall turned courtroom fight has now become an inevitable, public showdown mainly about legacy, money, and power. The battle for the ₹30,000 crore estate will continue.
