Sandeep Reddy Vanga's highly anticipated film Spirit was formally launched with a mahurat ceremony, marking the start of the big production. What made the event grander was the arrival of megastar Chiranjeevi. He came as the special guest of honor and fans were thrilled to bits by it. However, the observers with a keen eye noticed an infelicitous thing - the lead of the movie Prabhas was not with the team in the photo that was widely shared after the event.
At the mahurat ceremony held recently, Chiranjeevi was given a very warm welcome. He also spent some quality time with the creative minds and team members of the movie namely, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, actress Triptii Dimri, producer Bhushan Kumar, and the like. Vanga himself thanked the megastar for the huge honor he did to the film by his presence at the launch calling it a gesture that cannot be forgotten and expressing the love not only of himself but of the whole team too.
There was a lot of talk about the involvement of Prabhas in the film and yet he neither appeared in the group photograph nor in any of the public shots of the day. There is, however, no official word yet on why he wasn't in the photos but fans wonder that it might be a tactical move to keep Prabhas's new look a secret. In Spirit, the actor is to play a former IPS officer, and thus, the team must be keeping the big reveal as their film's promotion.
The project also features Triptii Dimri in the role of Prabhas's girlfriend. Deepika Padukone is the one who has been replaced by Triptii as she had to quit the film because she had some unavoidable scheduling conflicts and other issues. Besides them, some of the brilliant actors like Prakash Raj and Vivek Oberoi have done pivotal roles.
Spirit is a hard-hitting cop action drama from the director of Animal and Kabir Singh, which has a plot set around a violent police officer combatting a ruthless mafia syndicate. The movie which is a collaboration between T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures has an audio teaser which has already created promise among the audience by simply giving the glimpse of a complicated story and a sad hero.
The association of Sandeep Reddy Vanga with Prabhas is a treat to be eagerly awaited, as it is a new fresh combination that is anticipated to bring an intense cinematic experience.
