On 9th December 2025, Jhanak episode 225 opened with Jhanak seeing Dritimaan looking distressed. She asked him if he was waiting for Sanjhbati, but he answered that their marriage wouldn’t take place. Jhanak, always positive, said that Sanjhbati's mother would definitely calm down and that things would get better soon.
To cheer up Dritimaan Rishi made a fool of himself by saying that he would bring Sanjhbati next day. Dritimaan, however, was very sure that she would not come. He was well aware that Sanjhbati wouldn’t defy her parents.
On the other hand, Sanjhbati was sobbing while looking at Dritimaan’s photo. She confessed to herself that her family had seen her suffer because of him for years, and that was the reason why they were angry.
She was agonized by the fact that she couldn’t even think of marrying him without their blessing. Her pain was obvious—she desired to be with Dritimaan but was not capable of betraying her family.
In the meantime Jhanak was supporting Dritimaan at home and telling him that love which is genuine will always find a way. She was so sure that Sanjhbati would come back to Dritimaan and that no one could separate them.
However, Dritimaan was still full of doubts despite being moved by her words. Rishi saw that Jhanak and Dritimaan were very much involved with each other emotionally and a silent moment passed between Jhanak and Rishi which Dritimaan was very much aware of.
The following day, the police arrived and the house turned upside down with their presence to look into the case of the missing jewel. Dadabhai was taken aback and Rishi made it clear to him that it was Aniruddh and Arshi who had made the call.
Law enforcement officials started pulling the fingerprints and wanted the CCTV footage, but Rishi said that some of the cameras were out of order. Mishti who was quite nervous talking about the malfunction made Rishi suspect her.
Jhanak, afraid of what might happen to her, was cooperating with the police while Arshi was the one who was calm and determined to unmask the real perpetrator.
At Sanjhbati’s place, her mom was trying to convince her, but Sanjhbati did not budge. She told them that nothing would induce her to marry Dritimaan without their consent but as a friend, she would always stand by him.
Her mother, therefore, being extremely disappointed, said that Sanjhbati was an ungrateful daughter. On the other hand, Kaka was in favor of Sanjhbati’s decision and said that he would be her strength whatever happened.
Sanjhbati also let them know that Dritimaan had battled cancer and was the last person who deserved to be treated unfairly.
The episode was coming to an end with the cops assuring to uncover the truth and leaving with the stolen jewel. Rishi told Jhanak not to worry and that the perpetrator would be found soon.
It was a very emotional moment when Rishi took Jhanak's hand promising to be there for her, comforting her in a warm embrace, and leaving the audience with a sense of wonder about the upcoming episodes.
