Jhanak opens the show today by describing the emotionally charged atmosphere that followed the love confessions at the Bose house. She tries to maintain her composure but the deep inner turmoil of Rishis lip to Aditi's silent suffering haunts her.
Once at college, Jhanak turns her attention toward the work and her future. Nevertheless, a new fight is waiting to explode as a group of students mock her personal life. They insinuate that there are scandals and accuse her of being a bad person in order to degrade her in front of the others.
Jhanak does not want to be an accomplice of silence
On this occasion, Jhanak does not silently leave the scene like she used to. She reacts with a sharp yet dignified rejoinder. She teaches them that rumours and half-truths do not determine the value of a person's character. Her firm position catches everyone off guard.
At home, Nutan is feeling uneasy and is thinking a lot about the safety and honor of Jhanak. The mother worries that more and more people talking about Jhanak might bring her more trouble. But at the same time, she feels happy that her daughter is not being broken by the pressure.
Rishi caught in between love and duty
Rishi doesn't have a peaceful day as he is torn between Aditi and Jhanak. Although he cares for Jhanak the most, he is bound by his sense of duty to stay away. He understands that if he takes even one wrong step, he will have to pay dearly for it.
Aditi puts on a brave face in front of others but is cold towards Rishi. She is full of questions but chooses to keep them to herself for now. Nevertheless, her silence injures Rishi more than if they had an argument.
New plotting in the background
Some family members in the meantime, are scheming how to turn Jhanak's situation into their advantage. They assume that if Jhanak is disgraced in front of the public, she will leave of her own accord. The hints of a greater trap getting ready for the upcoming family functions are gradually becoming visible.
Jhanak anticipates the arrival of a storm but does not waver. She makes a silent vow to herself that she will not lose her honor and that she will not run away like she has always done. The episode is over with Jhanak being very firm in her stance and Rishi, who is concerned and confused by what he feels, looking at her.
