Today's episode of Jhanak was centered on the hospital scene, where Dritimaan was gently persuading Jhanak to follow the orders and get some rest at home. Jhanak, nevertheless, didn't seem to care about her own well-being as she was extremely worried about Rishi.
She kept blaming herself for the fire accident that resulted in Rishi getting hurt, while Sanjhbati was comforting her assuring her that Rishi was safe and would get well soon. While going out, Jhanak was not able to conceal her sobs.
In another hospital area, Aditi was visiting Rishi who was still recuperating. She said her goodbyes to him but before leaving, she reminded him that she was the one who knew he would risk his life for Jhanak.
Neelu who was standing next to Aditi, told Rishi to remember that Aditi was his wife. Rishi who was tired, told Aditi he would like her to go home and rest. However, the tensed situation between them cannot be felt. Aditi departed, her words still echoing in the room, bearing the painful silence of the unspoken.
Jhanak and Rishi were both in their respective rooms and kept asking the nurses about each other’s condition. The nurses who noticed the strong connection between them, persuaded them to meet each other. When Rishi finally got out of his room and stood in front of Jhanak’s, they saw each other and for a while, everything else disappeared.
The nurse who left them alone, Rishi told her how he could never stand seeing Jhanak in danger. Jhanak who was very much moved but at the same time, worried, told him that he was very dear to her. Rishi also with equal strength said to her life meant everything to him and he promised to find out the person who set the fire and even exposing Aniruddh as Jhanak’s father to the media.
Jhanak could not believe it and asked him not to involve her in an issue which might hurt Aditi if he did. Rishi, however, insisted. He said that he could not love Aditi if his heart was not with Jhanak.He promised to let Aditi go from their marriage and even talked about marrying Jhanak if Aditi gave him the divorce. Jhanak was suffering inside her—she loved Rishi but could never betray her sister.
On the other hand, Parashar was so worried about Jhanak’s condition that he could not think straight after hearing the news. He was scolding Dhamu for pushing Jhanak into this situation, and calling Dadabhai for answers.
Dadabhai, who was in a dilemma between being loyal to Jhanak and being afraid of Parashar's reaction, eventually spilled the beans. Parashar was enraged and shook Rishi to blame for all that happened but Jhanak interrupted him and said that it was just an accident.
Next day Parashar came to the hospital with his anger showing on his face. He confronted Rishi who didn't take a step back. Seeing this mess, Aditi talked to the nurse complaining about Parashar’s rude behavior. Aniruddh, who was always concern about his family's reputation, asked the nurse to get rid of Parashar from the hospital.
However, Parashar didn't move and instead he told Aditi that he took care of her for five years. Jhanak who was at her wit’s end, requested the fighting people to stop. She made it clear that it was only due to Aniruddh's pressure that she signed the papers but now she won't keep quiet.
The episode closes with the scene where Rishi firmly says that he would be with Jhanak come what may. Aditi, whose feelings are deeply hurt and who is full of humiliation, announces that she would not go back to her place if Jhanak were to stay. Without any hesitation, Rishi told her it was up to her.
The next scene shows Jhanak making a decisive move when she tells the reporters that Aniruddh is really her father and even ready to substantiate it with a DNA test. The arena is ready for an intense fight, and the audience is left in suspense as to what will be the outcome.
