Today episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts off with Abhira who is really pissed off and confronts Madhav and Vidya regarding the disappearance of the engagement ring. Vidya discloses to them that Krish took the original ring and in no time, they faked the one to get over the sly trick.
Madhav confesses that while he was getting the ring from Abhira’s room, Krish was the one who had already taken it. So, Abhira and Arman make up their mind that they will definitely talk to Krish but only when Kaveri is asleep because they want to avoid any kind of ruckus.
When all the invitees are about to leave, Kaveri sees the discord between the people and asks what really happened to the original ring. Abhira and Arman, taking the advantage of the situation, cover each other and decide to take the blame.
But Vidya is so frustrated that she charges her voice and points the finger at Krish by saying that she did see his car near the shop and house. However, Krish answers her with a flat denial and adds that even if what she says is true, it doesn't make him the culprit.
Things got worse after Arman came up with the bomb that Krish has been clandestinely selling the family lands. The family turns upside down with the outburst of anger and amidst the noise, Kaveri suddenly holds her chest and faints.
A doctor comes and confirms that she has suffered a mild heart attack and advises people not to put stress on her. Abhira who is still in rage mode, admonishes the Poddars that by doing this they are only hurting Kaveri more.
Madhav brings a man who might have known Krish as the one who sold him the ring. But the man says that he can't be sure, so Krish secretly breathes a sigh of relief - his phone was off and his secret is safe for now. Arman, seeing the error of his ways, says sorry to Krish, admits that if he were him, he wouldn't have forgiven him either.
Because Kaveri is sick, Kiara and Abhir decide to delay their wedding until she gets better. Nevertheless, Kaveri being her obstinate self doesn't want to go to a hospital and affirms that the wedding will happen as scheduled. In fact, she even gives the responsibility of the next steps to Abhira. Caring a lot for Kaveri's trust, Abhira assures her she will do it but the burden of it makes her feel emotionally drained.
Afterwards, Abhira and Arman again talk about the disappearance of the ring. Exhausted, Abhira decides that she will no longer pursue the investigation and will concentrate on the wedding instead.
On the contrary, Arman is still determined to find the missing ring and thus, he doesn't let her off the hook easily. Not knowing how to cope with all that pressure, Abhira goes to the Goenka's place leaving her sudden exit to Arman in a state of shock.
The episode closes with a hopeful scene in the next episode when Arman informs Abhira that they will not meddle in Vidya and Kajal's problems. Nevertheless, Abhira is firm in her decision to patch up the differences among the family members as she reckons that the Poddars are going to unite not only for Kiara's proper farewell but also because she is going to start a new life.
