The episode opened with heated Madhav and Vidya argument. Madhav questioned Vidya whether she got the ring, but Vidya was worried that Kaveri might soon figure out that the ring was a counterfeit.
In response, Madhav outlined their options: either purchasing the original ring before the jeweler selling it, or convincing people that the ring was stolen from them. He firmly believed that the engagement ceremony should be held today at any cost.
On the other hand, Tanya was nervous about Krish. Manoj noticed her anxiety and asked what the matter was. Tanya told the truth that Krish was not answering her calls, but Kajal tried to calm her down.
In their ignorance, Krish is in a pickle—he gives money to a group of goons who will only give him two days to pay the rest. They threaten that there is no way out because their men are watching him. Krish is psychologically paralyzed by the threat.
At the same time, Myra comes with betel leaves for everyone at the Poddar house. Abhira and Arman get into a lovey-dovey moment, but Kaveri sees Abhira blushing and asks her about it. Abhira immediately pretends to be innocent.
Manisha becomes impatient and orders Abhira to call Abhir for the engagement to start and if not, they will go away. When the thought of Abhir being missing occurs to them, they become so terrified that Kiara turns impatient and cannot wait any longer.
At the height of the stress, Abhir appears with a twist—he welcomes Surekha who has come as a representative of the Goenkas for the wedding. She shook hands with Abhira, Myra, Kiara, and Kaveri.
Now that the house is full of people, Abhir makes the decision to have the engagement right away. Abhira, as a weight removed from his shoulders, times a happy dance to lighten the atmosphere in the room.
Vidya sees Kaveri looking for something and offers her support. Kaveri says the plate for the pooja is missing, so Vidya decides to go to the car to get it. Meanwhile, Krish is outside still in deep thought about the money situation.
Vidya sees him and understands that he is the one who took the ring. She then checks his car number and she stands there speechless, the reality is very painful for her.
Abhir got down on one knee before Manisha, begging her to accept him and bless the union. He told her that Kiara's happiness depended on it and Abhira and Arman also convinced Manisha to put her faith in Abhir. After a short period of doubt, Manisha finally gave in and embraced the ring, summoning relief to all present.
Awkwardly Arman and Abhira shared a moment of happiness but Arman's countenance changed to gloom when he saw Krish. Abhira noticed it and asked what was the matter.
Arman said to her that Krish is dismantling the sale of his estates and eager to reveal the truth to Kaveri. Abhira interrupts him and tells him that Kaveri is sick and can't take any more strain right now.
At the time of the engagement, Abhira and Arman decided to have some lighthearted fun with Abhir and the family. Madhav and Vidya were looking on uneasily, trying to figure out if Kaveri would suspect that the ring was a duplicate. Finally, the moment came for Abhir and Kiara to put the ring on, and Abhira was devastated to discover that the ring was a counterfeit.
The episode has been wrapped up with happiness and some remaining tension. The Poddars and Goenkas are happy about the engagement, but the secrets and worries that exist among the characters are like hanging clouds ready to burst and spoil the joy.
