The chapter kicks off with a scene of confrontation between Arman and his friend. The friend is so mad at Arman for selling the Jaipur property without letting him know that he is literally shouting at him.
Arman’s friend claims that he was the one whom Arman deceitfully ignored as he had promised to sell the property to him first. To this, Arman is silent and bewildered as he senses that the deal is not as straightforward as it seems.
On the other hand, Abhir can’t hold his excitement as he reveals the engagement ring he purchased to Kiara, in hopes of winning over Manisha’s heart. Kiara finds the ring beautiful but tells him that Kaveri will definitely insist on using her ancestral ring.
Abhir admits that he did not mean to use the ring but only to buy it just so that Manisha would say yes to him. Kiara kindly asks him how long he will be playing this game. Abhir answers with a slight smile that he will not quit until Manisha really accepts him. Also, he assures Kiara that she will never feel the lack of a mother’s love just like he did. Kiara is filled with warmth on hearing his words.
The scene at the Goenka residence is quite different, where Madhav informs Vidya, with great regret, about the loss of the ancestral ring. Vidya loses her mind as she is already thinking of the engagement which is only a few days away.
Madhav doesn’t waste time in searching for old photos so that a new one can be made but he decides not to take Abhira into confidence at this moment. He is silently hoping that Vidya will be able to manage the situation, though the atmosphere is very tense.
Abhira, remembering Akshara, talks to her picture about Abhir’s wedding which is going to be held soon. She doesn’t know that Abhir is listening to her emotional talk. It is a bittersweet moment loaded with so much that they don’t say.
The tension heightens when Arman goes to Sanjay and asks him directly about the sale of the Jaipur property. Contrary to expectations, Sanjay tells him that it was Arman himself who had filed for a stay order, which made Arman quite baffled.
He tells Sanjay to find out from Krish the reason for the sale of the house and if Krish was in some kind of trouble. A fiery fight ensues between Sanjay and Krish, as both are adamant and refuse to concede.
Abhira is phoning Madhav only to have him turning away from her call, making her more and more doubtful. At a later time, she queries Madhav about the rings which he might have sent for polishing and whether she should go and pick them up.
Madhav interrupts his wife abruptly and tells her that he will do it. Abhira can’t help but notice that he is acting nervously and thinks about what could be the real reason behind it.
Vidya is in quite a hurry to have a ring replicated at a jeweler’s but she finds out that it has already been sold. Completely losing it, she writes down the car number of the seller while the jeweler asks for twice the price if he is to return it.
Vidya is struggling between shock and helplessness. From a distance, Krish decides to intervene. To cover the money transfer, he uses a traveler’s vehicle and acquires funds in a rather risky way.
At the Poddar house, Kaveri is mulling over the possibility of Kajal and Manisha not coming to the engagement function. With a little help from Sanjay, Kajal is persuaded to come for the sake of Charu. Caught between her feelings and her obligation to the family, Kajal makes up her mind to go.
Manisha, still full of doubts about Abhir, tells Kaveri and Manoj about it. She expresses concern about what will happen to Kiara and admits that she is not yet able to trust Abhir. Helped by gentle manners, Kaveri and Manoj convince her to come to the party, offering to smooth out the awkwardness.
On their arrival at the Poddars, Abhira and Myra give them a warm welcome. Arman keeps staring at Abhira, however, she softly tells him to restrain himself as she is the one from the groom’s side.
Arman, blow off steam, says that it is a frustration of his that Abhira is always talking about going away. In a soothing gesture, Abhira puts a kiss on Arman’s forehead which, I guess, was a great surprise for him and, at the same time, he felt warm.
The last moments of the episode are filled with characters voicing their inner conflicts and having quiet hopes. Arman and Abhira share a private moment, Krish’s audacious move makes people wonder what will happen next.
