The current Anupama’s episode warmly starts with Anupama talking to Rajini. Anupama confesses that she is delighted to approve Bharti and Varun’s relationship while recalling how Bharti had been a great support to her when she had just come to Mumbai.
After hearing all this, Rajini comforts Anupama but she is up to something else. She promises Anupama that the wedding will be held at the chawl but at the same time subtly reminds her about the necessity of signing some important papers before the festivities.
On the other hand, the Shah family is all out marketing their beauty products and are totally out of tune with the drama that is taking place at the chawl. Anupama, on the other hand, is very wary of the whole situation, and she even tells the chawl people to read the documents before signing them.
But the residents, who are full of trust in Anupama, decline the offer to look at the papers and sign them blindly. They trust her to the hilt but Anupama is not at ease.
At the Shah household, Pakhi gets very angry when she hears about Bharti and Varun’s alliance. She blames Anupama for the habit of putting others before her own family, especially Ishani. Leela, however, makes up her mind to take a flight to Mumbai for the wedding and thinks that it will be her chance to resolve the matter peacefully.
The moment Anupama is about to give the signed papers to Rajini, a commotion is heard. Preet comes running with the unbelievable information that Tawde’s house is on fire, and the papers have gone up in smoke.
Anupama looks like she can’t believe it while Rajini’s ire gets hotter and hotter. She doesn’t want to yield to defeat and pledges to have the documents redrawn at once if that is what it takes to raze the chawl.
During the shooting, Ishani sees Piya getting special treatment and she is feeling left out and unimportant. Piya tells her to show off her wealth if she wants to be respected, and Ishani, who is very much in need of attention, starts seriously thinking about the matter.
Anupama, still shocked because of the fire incident, is pointing to Tawde as the cause of the fire due to his carelessness. However, when she requests the locals to sign the papers again, they shock her by their refusal.
Rather, they state that only Anupama will sign on their behalf. They have complete trust in her. Touched by their faith, Anupama assures them that Rajini’s intentions are good and that the chawl will be safe.
What an irony! Anupama is not at all aware that Rajini’s intentions are quite the opposite of what she shows. She tells Varun that the alliance with Bharti is her clever move to get a good image with the public by marrying her son to a downtrodden girl and at the same time to have Anupama under her control. Varun asks her in a puzzled way about her own daughter, but Rajini indifferent, reveals that her daughter hasn’t talked to her for the last few months.
The episode comes to a halt with Anupama making arrangements for Bharti’s marriage, full of faith and optimism. The precursor to the next episode shows Rajini giving some costly jewellery to Bharti and Anupama deciding that it would be the safest if she kept it at Sarita’s house.
However, Ishani eavesdrops on this and decides to rob the jewellery which makes Anupama worried when she sees that Ishani is not at home late at night.
