Jhanak Written Update – 7 January 2026 – Latest Episode Aditi Poisoned As Jhanak Gets Blamed

 

The episode today kicks off with such a heavy, uncomfortable vibe at the house, and honestly, we feel like the tension was just waiting for a reason to explode. It starts with Mishti being her usual self, picking on Jhanak and claiming she can’t do a single thing right. It is actually quite frustrating to watch because Jhanak has been working so hard lately, even earning praise for her tea from the elders, but Mishti just won’t let it go.

Then Aditi arrives with her parents, and you can just feel the awkwardness in the room immediately. Arshi is right there, pushing Aditi to cooperate with Aniruddh, while the rest of the family tries to put on a happy face for the guests. Our observation is that Aniruddh is playing a very dark game right now.

While the others are busy talking about rituals and expensive necklaces, he is secretly plotting how to punish Jhanak before any court can even give a verdict on their case. It is a bit chilling, really. There is this big debate about where Jhanak belongs, with Rishi insisting she is his responsibility.

This obviously rubs Aditi the wrong way. She even brings up seeing them together at a restaurant, holding hands, and while Jhanak tries to explain it was just about the case, nobody seems to believe her. The air is just thick with suspicion and old grudges.

Then comes the moment that changed everything. Dritimaan suggests they finally start the celebration, so Jhanak brings out juice for everyone. We believe this was the exact turning point of the day.

Aniruddh, thinking he is being clever, slips a pill into a glass he intends for Jhanak. But things go sideways fast. In the shuffle, Aditi ends up picking up the spiked drink instead.

Aniruddh realizes what is happening and tries to stop her, but he is too late. Aditi takes a sip, starts feeling dizzy, and just collapses. It was such a frantic scene, and the house turned into total chaos in seconds.

The blame game starts immediately, and it is heart-wrenching. Arshi points her finger right at Jhanak, accusing her of trying to kill Aditi just to get Rishi for herself. Even though Jhanak is crying and swearing she didn’t do anything, the family is already turning against her.

Rishi is caught in the middle; he is trying to be logical by collecting a juice sample for testing, but you can tell he is starting to doubt Jhanak too. By the end of the episode, Jhanak is basically forced to pack her bags because the family is scared of a police investigation. It is a really sad closing, seeing her so isolated, and we are left wondering how she will ever prove her innocence now.
