The 1st May 2026 episode of Anupama begins with Jaya asking Digvijay if she is looking pretty. Digvijay tells her she always looks pretty and asks why she is wearing a new dress. Jaya says she got ready because they are going to visit Saavi's new café. Anupama comes back home and Digvijay asks if she is fine. Anupama lies to him and asks him to get ready as their journey is long. Jaya asks if Ansh and Hasmuk will also visit the café. Banku says he is excited to meet the Shahs because Jaya has praised them so much. Anupama confirms that Ansh and Digvijay will definitely come. Digvijay tells Anupama that if she ever needs someone to share her pain, he is always there to listen. Anupama thanks him warmly.
At the Shah house, Mahi asks Kinjal if she is cutting fruits for Hasmuk. Kinjal explains that Hasmuk will not eat unless she peels them herself. Leela taunts Mahi for leaving the cooler and AC on and reminds her that she is staying at the Shah house, not the Kothari mansion. Meanwhile, Ansh and Hasmuk get ready to visit Anupama's café. Paritosh and Pakhi are offended by this, but Ansh and Hasmuk are firm in their decision to support Anupama no matter what. Leela is unhappy. Kinjal takes Mahi to the office, and Ansh warmly wishes Mahi before they leave.
Rahi tells Khyati that if Anupama had not interfered, she would have had a happy family with Shruti and Anuj. Khyati says Rahi is angry and that is why she is thinking badly about Anupama. Rahi calls Anupama selfish. Khyati reminds Rahi that Anupama has sacrificed so much for her and always supported her. Rahi insists that Anupama only thinks about herself. Khyati asks Rahi to calm down and think clearly, saying that Shruti has filled Rahi's mind with negative thoughts. Rahi denies this and says Shruti has not instigated her. Khyati then asks Rahi to decide whether she wants to be known as Rahi or Adhya while working with Shruti. Rahi gets very angry at this.
Banku and Digvijay walk with Anupama to see the location of the new café. Banku spots the Shah house and says it is Anupama's home. Anupama gently corrects him and says the house belongs to Hasmuk and Leela. Digvijay asks about the café location. Anupama shows them the site of Anu Ki Rasoi. Digvijay and Banku are shocked to see the burnt and damaged place. Anupama tells them that while others think the place is cursed, for her it represents a fresh start. She explains her vision to Digvijay, who says he fully trusts her decision. Anupama also shares that along with Saavi's café, she plans to help Prem and Rahi open their own restaurant one day.
Prem asks Rahi if it is true that Anupama is opening a café. Vasundhara and Gautam try to turn Prem against Anupama. Gautam points out that Rahi already knew about it. Rahi explains to Prem that she had no idea about Anupama's return and that it was Ansh who informed her about the café. Prem asks Rahi to go and confront Anupama and question her about why she seems to keep hurting him.
Hasmuk and Ansh arrive to meet Anupama. Hasmuk thanks Digvijay for supporting Anupama, and Digvijay says she deserves it for all she has done. Hasmuk asks Ansh to show the papers to Digvijay and also asks everyone to have sweets before starting the work. Ansh gets worried when he thinks the latest permit is missing. Just then, Ishani arrives with the papers. Banku and Digvijay are surprised to see Ishani. Anupama asks if they know each other. Banku reveals that he had tried to help Ishani before, but she had accused him of being a thief in return. Ishani says she had already apologized but Banku ignored it. Jaya steps in and asks Banku and Ishani to forget the past and become friends.
Vasundhara asks Rahi to confront Anupama directly. She says Anupama's dream cannot be allowed to succeed when Prem's dream was destroyed. Vasundhara urges Rahi to do whatever it takes to shut down the café before it even opens. Meanwhile, Gautam thinks to himself that because of this conflict between Anupama and Prem, both of them will end up losing. Rahi finally makes up her mind and decides to go talk to Anupama. Back at the café, Anupama waits for an important call. Ansh, Ishani, Banku, Digvijay, and Hasmuk all come together to help rebuild the café. Leela, Paritosh, and Pakhi keep watching Anupama's progress from a distance. Anupama feels truly happy to be starting over. The episode ends here.
Precap:
Rahi confronts Anupama and blames her for destroying her dream by opening this café. Anupama calmly tells Rahi that she is not doing this to hurt anyone, but only to fulfil Saavi's dream. Rahi fires back, calling Anupama a terrible mother who is happily building one daughter's dream while crushing another's. Anupama is left completely shocked.
Our Take:
Rahi's constant drama and blaming is getting very hard to watch. She has never truly trusted Anupama and has always turned against her once her own needs were met. This time, Anupama should stop trying to win Rahi over and focus on herself. Rahi already has Shruti by her side, so let them be together. Anupama deserves to be surrounded by people who genuinely love and respect her, and it is time she keeps her distance from those who only bring her pain.
