The 1st May 2026 episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Abhira entering the room. She looks around and feels that everything seems familiar, yet nothing truly belongs to her anymore. She is flooded with old memories and breaks down emotionally. Meanwhile, Madhav tells Arman that he cannot bring himself to stay with Vidya and will instead stay at the guest house. Arman is deeply hurt and asks Madhav how Vidya could remain unmoved even after seeing him and Myra crying for Abhira. He says that because of Vidya, Myra spent eight long years hating her own mother. Arman questions why Vidya broke his trust. Madhav says that a mother has shattered their faith and that he cannot find peace without letting his tears out.
Kajal comes to meet Abhira, but Abhira completely ignores her. Kajal understands her mistake of hiding the truth for so long and is overcome with guilt. She regrets not speaking up sooner, realizing that if she had revealed the truth earlier, the family would not have fallen apart the way it did. Elsewhere, Madhav tries to encourage Arman to move forward in life. He asks Arman to think about Myra and Abhira instead of staying stuck in the past. He urges Arman to try and fix his relationship with Abhira. However, Arman avoids the topic. Madhav reminds him that he cannot ignore Abhira since she is now living with them.
Kajal makes another attempt to speak with Abhira, and this time Abhira gently apologizes to her. On another side of the house, Tanya notices Sanjay and Krish spending time together and pretends to be asleep. Later, she confronts Krish about coming home late and asks him what he is up to. Krish asks Tanya to trust and support him. Tanya worries whether Krish is once again making a wrong move. Krish tries to reassure her.
The next morning, Abhira wakes up to find Myra lying beside her. The two share a warm and loving cuddle. Mukti also joins them. Meanwhile, Arman is distant and ignores both Disha and Aryan. Disha asks Aryan if Arman is upset with her. Aryan clarifies that Arman's anger is directed at Vidya, not at Disha. Back with Myra and Mukti, the two decide to prepare breakfast for Abhira. Mukti suggests that Myra should also cook for Arman. Myra is not pleased with this idea as she is still upset with him. Mukti gently explains to Myra that Arman and Abhira may have reacted differently to the same situation, but that does not mean one of them is right and the other is wrong. Just as they get started in the kitchen, they realize the gas cylinder is empty. They struggle to prepare the meal. Vidya comes forward to help Myra use the induction cooker, but Myra refuses to accept her help. Manisha and Disha then step in to help Myra, while Myra continues to ignore Vidya completely.
In another moment, Arman is in his room when Abhira walks in and stops him. Arman quickly leaves the room and goes to Kaveri. He asks Kaveri why she is not angry with him. Kaveri tells him it is because he fulfilled his duty as a son. She then advises Arman to focus on rebuilding his relationship with Abhira. Arman, however, feels that Abhira has no interest in being with him anymore. Later, both Abhira and Manoj ask Arman to speak with Sanjay, as there are reports that Mittal is planning to push him out of the firm. Kaveri and Manoj also try to help Arman with the situation. Abhira makes it very clear to Arman that the two of them cannot be together. Kaveri nudges Arman to go and talk to Abhira. Arman hesitates but slowly pushes himself to approach her. Abhira notices Kaveri signaling Arman and directly asks him if he has something to say. Arman gathers his courage to speak. Just then, Mukti and Myra arrive with a lovely surprise — they have prepared breakfast for Abhira and Arman. However, as Myra and Mukti sit with Abhira and feed her, Arman is left standing alone on the side. The episode ends here.

Abhira asks Arman what he wants to talk about. Arman ignores her and instead goes to Kaveri. He tells Kaveri that after breaking Abhira's trust so many times, he does not have the courage to ask her to start over with him again. Meanwhile, Myra goes to Abhira and asks her to give Arman one more chance. She begs Abhira not to let her love slip away.
Our Take:
Abhira and Arman are clearly heading toward a reunion, even if they are both creating unnecessary drama right now. The track involving Mittal threatening the Poddar family is going to add some exciting twists. It looks like Sanjay and Krish may go against the Poddars, which will push Abhira and Arman to unite and fight back together. The big question on everyone's mind is whether Abhira and Arman will eventually remarry. Fingers crossed for some happy moments ahead!
