The 7th July 2026 episode begins with Anupama saying Prerna was staying as a daughter, and now she is a daughter-in-law. She says since she is Prerna's aunty, she will perform the ritual. Anupama says a daughter will leave the house, and a daughter-in-law will enter it. She says a daughter is stubborn in her parents' house and takes all the responsibilities in her in-laws' house. Anupama says Prerna is lucky to have both her parents' house and her in-laws' house. She asks Vasundhara and Meeta if they have any problem. Leela says Prerna will enter the house with a vow that she will take care of it.
Anupama prepares for Prerna's farewell. Digvijay performs the ritual. Prem plans to take Ansh and Prerna on a ride so that Prerna can re-enter the house. Rahi supports Prem. Vasundhara tells Anupama that she has turned the farewell ritual into a game. Anupama asks Vasundhara if she played the doll marriage game in her childhood. Vasundhara says she did, and her eyes used to well up too. Anupama says if she could cry during a game, then why is she not believing in a real farewell? Prerna and Ansh mark their exit. Digvijay says by performing Prerna's kanyadaan, he feels as if he has earned the virtue of performing Saavi's kanyadaan too.
Anupama says Digvijay bid farewell to a daughter, and now she will welcome a daughter-in-law. The Shahs welcome Ansh and Prerna. Digvijay and Prem reveal that the next round of the competition is a family round. They say any five family members can join the chefs.
Anupama gets excited. Leela says she will go with Anupama. Vasundhara says she will join Prem. Leela says Vasundhara wants to copy her style, which is why she wants to go to the competition. Vasundhara says she never copies Leela. Prem says he will decide who will join him for the competition, as he wants the best cook. Kinjal asks Prem if Anupama is not a good chef. Paritosh comes forward and tries to frame Prem by saying he has no tension about the competition. Prem signals Paritosh to stay silent. Paritosh ignores the request. He further says Prem and Shruti are enough, as they know all the secret ingredients. Instead of preparing for the competition, they are wasting time at the wedding.
Paritosh asks Anupama about her diary. Kinjal tells Anupama that her diary is missing. Paritosh says the diary is in the Kothari house. He exposes Prem. Hasmuk asks Prem where he found Anupama's diary. Paritosh says Prem didn't find the diary but stole it. Anupama asks Paritosh to stop making false accusations. Vasundhara says Pakhi and Paritosh have a habit of accusing people of theft. She says Pakhi accused Banku, and now Paritosh is accusing Prem.
Paritosh says Prem will get trapped. He asks Prem to swear on Rahi and tell the truth. Prem admits to stealing Anupama's diary. Paritosh asks Anupama to take over. Ansh says he thought Prem was changing, but he attended the wedding to steal the diary. Prerna feels disgusted with Prem.
The Shahs accuse Prem. Khyati says Prem has lost all decency. Mahi points out that Prem might have burned Anupama's form too. Prem is shocked. Shruti takes Prem's side and says Anupama forced Prem to become a thief. The Shahs accuse Prem. Ishani and Mahi say Rahi is a partner in crime. Prem says Rahi doesn't know anything. Digvijay asks Shruti if she calls Prem and Rahi her children, then why is she not showing them the right path? Prem says Anupama is his competitor and everything is fair in love and war. He says the competition is a war for him, and he is fighting to defeat Anupama. Anupama tells Prem that if he wanted to win, he should have done it on his own. She asks Prem to keep the diary. Vasundhara asks Prem to come along.
Anupama remembers her memories with Prem. She apologizes to Ansh and Prerna for ruining their day. Ansh says they know the Kotharis and that Prem would create drama, yet they still invited them. He asks Anupama not to be sorry. Prerna gets emotional that her day is ruined. Leela taunts Prerna, saying she wanted Prem on her side. Anupama questions Paritosh about exposing Prem now when he already knew the truth. Kinjal says Paritosh might have wanted to blackmail Prem. Anupama is shattered. The episode ends with Anupama questioning Paritosh's motives.

Prem asks Anupama why she called him. Anupama says she wants to know why he has changed so much. She points out that Prem wanted to open a café, so why did he become her competitor? Meanwhile, Shruti asks Rahi why she is distancing herself from Prem. Rahi asks Shruti why, in her animosity towards Anupama, she is using her and Prem as pawns. Shruti is shocked.
Our Take:
Anupama should have given a more befitting reply to the insolent Prem. But she is great, and in the upcoming episode, she will ask Prem about his behaviour, as if Prem will have a change of heart and behave nicely with her. Rahi is giving Shruti a reality check. Shruti should be thrown out of the house, as it is high time.
