The episode of Anupamaa on 11 December 2025 started with Prem getting a call from an angry Rahi because he didn't get back home on time. Prem told her that he was coming, but Rahi's anger reaching her was obvious.
Anupama, seeing Rahi's anxiety, told her to be quiet and to pay attention to her studies and also complimented Prem for always being patient with Rahi's outbursts.
In the meantime, a conversation between Prem and Varun was going on as they were driving. Prem questioned Varun about his decision to come back to India after his studies in the US.
Varun confessed that he never had a desire to study abroad and his dream was always to be a politician. Prem liked his straightforwardness but their chat was interrupted when Varun unexpectedly accelerated.
Varun on the bike collided with a couple before Prem could even react to what was happening. Frightened, Prem urged Varun to stop, but Varun was adamant as he said that if he were to be found at the scene of the accident it would be the end of his political career. Prem didn't take this to heart and so he got out of the car and went to the help of the injured couple.
The people arrived at the scene very quickly and started asking questions about who was behind the wheel. Varun didn't think twice and pointed at Prem as the driver.
The crowd didn't believe his word and thus on their side was Prem, who declared his innocence; however, the gang nevertheless pounced on him accusing him of reckless driving. A phone call from police station got to Rahi, informing her of Prem's detention. Anupama and Rahi therefore, got quite shocked after this news.
At police station, Anupama and Rahi were seen defending Prem, who told them that it was Varun that caused the accident. Upon this, Rajini came and confronted Varun, who was still blaming Prem. Seeing this, Rajini didn't hold back her anger and asked him to speak the truth as well as giving him a slap. When things got tough, Varun decided to come clean and tell the truth that he lied to get away with it.
Meanwhile, Vasundhara had a word with Parag and asked him if from their past, Rajini was the same person he thought. She was concerned about the sudden prosperity of Rajini and warned Parag against trusting her.
But Parag was confident of his choice and said he had already put all his money into the project. Besides, he reminded Vasundhara that although he had betrayed Rajini because of her, love doesn't care about status.
In the chawl, Paritosh was acting out of his character, quite cheerful about getting alimony following the divorce of Pari and Raja. Kinjal and the Shah family were against his conduct, but Paritosh had made up his mind to see his daughter in Mumbai. However, Leela told him to Anupama to let her handle it her way.
After being unmasked, Varun implored Rajini to assist him. Rajini was not amused by his act and told him hitting someone and running away is not in the right even if you're a son of a politician. Later, the injured couple took back their complaint and Anupama advised Varun to take good lessons from Rajini.
Gautam could feel that something was not right and by watching Khayti he concluded that there might be a connection between Parag and Rajini. When confronted with this, Parag tried to rid of it but Gautam was not willing to give up on getting the truth.
This was the end of the episode, with a heavy spoiler: Varun expressing his regret to Anupama, and Anupama choosing to pardon him for Rajini's sake. Yet, she was eavesdropping on Rajini telling Varun that they would make a lot of money once the chawl development project is done, hence Anupama was left wondering about the real intentions of Rajini.
