The 10th December 2025 episode of the serial "Jhanak" started with the character of Jhanak still being cannily troubled by the perplexing presence of a jewel in her satchel. Putul tried to reassure her by telling her to eat and not to beat her chest for something that hadn’t happened to her.
Nevertheless, Jhanak was not able to evade the pain of being accused of stealing. Putul told her that the police would definitely find the person responsible for the crime, yet Jhanak was so deeply affected by the insult and the distrust that she couldn’t convince herself otherwise.
Neelu, hearing the whole talk, mocked Putul for siding with Jhanak. Putul Jhanak’s defender, but Neelu's severe words only made Jhanak’s mood drop. Jhanak was so suffocated with the atmosphere that she decided to leave the room and thus Putul got disappointed at Neelu’s behavior.
Afterward, Jhanak was reminiscing Aniruddh’s words to her. Rishi saw her and wondered what was troubling her. Jhanak told him her pain saying that people were doubting her innocence the most.
Rishi, on his part, comforted her and said that he knew she was honest and not money-minded. He promised to be her shield if she would be his sword. Touched yet apprehensive, Jhanak said that she was scared of Aniruddh’s power and the results of the accusation.
Unexpectedly, Rishi declared his love for Jhanak. He said that he couldn’t be Aditi’s husband because he didn’t love her, rather he loved Jhanak. Jhanak was dumbfounded and tried to bring him back to reason saying that she had no claim to his love.
However, Rishi was firmly decided to clear her name and be her support. He assured her with a hug that he was the last person who would add to her woes and thereby, helping her out of her stress. Jhanak after a while of indecision, responded in kind to his embrace.
Meanwhile, Arshi and Aniruddh were up to something against Jhanak. Arshi told Aditi that she had slapped Anjana in a fit of rage, therefore, Anjana after that scold, had left the house.
Recording Arshi's apology, Aniruddh planned to use it as a ‘get out of jail free’ card for his withdrawing the case against Jhanak. Meeting Rishi’s senior officer, he lied that Jhanak was threatening him and trying to damage his reputation.
To this officer, he portrays as a victim, asking him to take Jhanak down quietly and not inform Rishi.
Aditi really is the one who is stuck in the middle and she tells Rishi that she doesn’t doubt Jhanak but she understands Aniruddh’s need for getting to the bottom of the truth.
Rishi, however, acts in anger and yet completely trusts Jhanak. The episode concluded with a senior officer coming to visit Jhanak reminding her of the necessity to be present at the police station, and Rishi attempting to be there as a helper and thus, the next episode is bound to get even more dramatic.
