The December 10, 2025, episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai started with a scene where Arman bumped into Abhira and asked if she had filled her fellowship form. Abhira revealed that after having an argument with Tanya regarding Kiara’s situation, she got completely distracted.
At that moment, a call came for Abhir, and Abhira went away to take the call.
Abhira was shocked to hear of Abhir's injury; however, he seemed to be more worried about the arrival of his baby than his injury. Going down memory lane, he mentioned how he always wanted a separate room as a child but now wanted to give his kid what he lacked.
As if that was not enough, he told that he has also hired a nanny to take care of Kiara when he is not around. Quite moved by his commitment, Abhira asked if he loved Kiara that much, to which, Abhir answered that his love for Kiara was absolutely unconditional.
On the other hand, Manisha was hell-bent on getting Kiara married to a man of her choice. Kiara, who was at a loss of words and tearful, declined whereas Manisha didn't care for her refusal.
Abhira saw the sense in trying to reason with Manisha and therefore, warned her against ruining Kiara’s life but on hearing this, Manishah accused Abhira of meddling. Abhira realized that time was against her in this fight to stop the wedding.
Tanya, concerned about Kiara, told the whole story to Arman. The family couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw that preparations for the wedding were going on as usual. Kiara, being in a tight spot, told Manisha that she was not capable of going through with the marriage. Manisha, on the other hand, resorted to the emotional tactic by saying that she would die if Kiara didn’t marry the man she had chosen. Arman made an effort to convince her, but Manisha insisted that the Poddars were backing her decision.
Manisha invited Ajay and his mother over and the atmosphere turned sour when Abhira disrupted the scene with a shocking proposal of Abhir’s alliance for Kiara. Ajay and his mom were totally put off by the incident and decided to leave at once.
Abhira was the reason for which Arman threw a fit as she humiliated the family in front of everyone and she, nevertheless, said that she had to do it because no one was there for Kiara except her.
The Poddars were blaming Abhira for being on Abhir's side, and even Vidya and Kaveri were not in her favor. Abhira, who was broken inside, nevertheless, persuaded Kiara that she should take the reins of her life and talk out. Manisha, however, kidnapped Kiara, leaving Abhira quite powerless.
Arman sought to comfort her but Kaveri stopped him by pulling him away, so Abhira remained alone. Seeing the predicament of Abhira, Myra decided to be her support.
The episode ended with a Cliffhanger: Arman was telling Abhira to give up her stubbornness while Abhira was defending Abhir. Following this, Abhir quietly entering Kiara’s room and Manisha accusing Abhira of helping him were the signs of the unfolding drama in the forthcoming episode.
