The episode opens in the hospital corridor full of people and Sachin who is standing there like a statue when the staff informs him that they need the money immediately for the eye surgery of Tejas.
If it is not given, the doctors will not proceed, and Sachin is feeling suffocated. The bill is exorbitant, much more than he has. He is already worried about how to break the news to the family who are always supportive but stretching themselves too thin.
Back at the Deshmukhs the family members sit near one another and call each other for help in the form of loans of which they receive by each other and friends. Their fearful talking catches the attention of Renuka and Roshni who come indoors with surprise written all over their face.
Roshni who is known for her quick decision-making, immediately says that she would help by selling her mangalsutra. However, Renuka in anger interrupts her. "No, it isn't just a piece of jewellery—it's our heritage. So, don't think of it," says she pulling Roshni to herself.
Then as always, Paresh comes forward with his act of kindness silently. From his own money, he gives the Deshmukh family fifteen thousand rupees which is like a breath of fresh air to them.
Shayari also participates by offering money from her business which she has planned to flourish. Slowly with the help of every single person, they make the full payment. It is a family matter that strongly shows how close-knit they are.
Afterwards in Tejas's silent hospital room, Roshni feeding him with a spoon and her hands being so soft. Tejas's face is a heap of fear because of the upcoming operation and he is persistently thinking that what if he never gets to see again.
"What if I had to face this?" is what he says out of tears. Roshni uses her handkerchief on the tears and speaks calmly and warmly, "It won't happen. And if it does, I would not even think twice and give you my eye."
At their place, Renuka is walking back and forth and her brain is filled with a lot of things. Sachin and Paresh by their sitting down and talking to her; their voices being very composed and showing understanding. "Take it easy, Ma.
Everything will be clear very soon," says Sachin to her while giving her hand a squeeze. Shortly after, he and Sayali rush to the hospital. Watching Sachin's reckless and speedy driving amid all the fire engines, Sayali's heart sinks—she is full of anxiety.
However, Sachin keeps looking forward while thinking about how empty their pockets are nowadays. Sayali comes to him with an encouraging smile and says, "Look at us, not the money problems. We are a team."
Riya, across the town, is walking through the entrance dragging her feet and thinking how unlucky she is for missing the crisis. Akash puts one of his arms on her shoulder and says, "Hey, you're here now. Things turn around step by step." by which he comforts her and pulls her back from her misery.
The day after tension is immense in the nursing home. The family gathers around the nurse who is taking the bandages off from the surgery area of Tejas. They all silently ask for help from God—Sachin and Sayali being two of them, and they also thank Paresh for his warmheartedness which they believe is the reason for this good luck.
Then, the staggering moment!: Tejas opening his eyes with the bright light coming in. "I... I am able to see!" is what he says in a low voice. Everybody present there hollers and gets hugged in mutual delight and comfort. They are safe now, and their universe feels complete again.
Roshni goes out secretly to let other people know by a phone call, her voice being so happy that it almost breaks. She embraces Sayali tightly. "Thank you—for being there with us, for the love that was our support," is what she tells her.
After that, Sachin takes Tejas back to their house. The vehicle is abuzz with the laughter of the people and some light talk.
When the episode comes to an end, the Deshmukhs are seen sitting comfortably and their relationships are even more powerful than before. The audience may anticipate more of the Deshmukhs' family love and a few more little hurdles to keep the core of their story alive.
