The episode of Anupama on 12th December 2025 opens with Rajini scolding Varun for his reckless behaviour. She lets him know that the only reason she had to intervene was to gain Anupama’s trust, not because she cares for him, but because she needs Anupama’s support for the chawl deal.
Rajini's inner motive is quite obvious: money and power. She tells Varun to say sorry to Anupama and Prem, not because he feels sorry, but as it is a part of a bigger plan.
She even goes to the extent of saying that, in the future, Varun marrying someone who is close to Anupama would help him to influence her decisions. Varun tries to resist, but Rajini keeps saying that love doesn't matter, only their goals do.
On the other hand, the chawl people cannot stop talking about their happiness with Anupama who modestly says that it is with the support of everyone that she could achieve this.
Anupama doesn’t expect Rajini and Varun coming to her house at that moment. Varun, doing what his mother says, apologizes to Anupama. Rajini looks at him encouraging him to put Anupama’s feet as a gesture of reverence but Anupama doesn’t get fooled that easily.
She denies him forgiveness, but it’s only after Rajini’s persistent urging that she softens her attitude towards him. Anupama consents to serving them tea, and Rajini taking advantage of the moment asks Anupama to take Varun under her wing, asserting that it would be a good way to teach him a lesson.
Anupama agrees but on the condition that Varun lives in the chawl like other people. Rajini quickly agrees, pretending that she is rather happy with it.
At the Shah’s, Parag is extremely angry and he confronts Prem about his chef job as freelance. Vasundhara comes into the picture and she puts blame on Rahi for not telling them that they were moving to Mumbai.
Things get heated when Prem uncovers the truth about the accident that Varun caused and shares that he tried to frame him. Parag and Vasundhara can’t believe their ears.
At the chawl, Sarita is ready to give Varun all the comfort at her house but Anupama is firm that he should stay in the chawl to learn about the life of the ordinary people. Rajini is backing up Anupama’s Decision but her sly glance at Varun reveals their hidden agenda. Anupama sees them talking to each other in whispers and she is left wondering what it could be about.
Rahi is feeling low because Vasundhara hasn’t yet accepted her even though she has been married to her for almost a year. Prem tries to cheer her up, but the tension still remains in the house.
Parag becomes restless when Khyati sees Rajini's name on his phone and insists to call her to prove Prem's innocence. Parag is surprised by Khyati's courage and he is scared that she might find out his secret.
It is when Anupama gets a call from Sunny asking her to come along with Pari and Ishani that Varun starts to feel uneasy about living in the chawl. Rajini reminding him silently to be on his best behaviour with Anupama. The episode concludes with Anupama monitoring Rajini and Varun very closely, feeling that something is off.
The precap suggests that Rajini wants Anupama to repay her while Preet and Bharti warn Anupama not to trust her.
