On 12th Dec 2025, the episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai started with Abhira who was clearly in a dilemma and intentionally ignored Abhir's call. Arman gets a chance to meet her and Abhira, feeling awful about the accusations against her, tells him that if it makes things easier he should blame her. Arman recognizes her sorrow and with no words, he just supports her by hugging her.
At the same time, Manisha keeps on doing her evil plans by blaming Abhira that she helped Abhir in manipulating Kiara. She even goes to the extent of saying that Abhir with the help of Abhira entered the room where Kiara was.
Kiara on the other hand, supports Abhira and says that she didn’t know that Abhir was coming. Manisha is very stubborn and she insists that Abhira is trying to trap Kiara for her brother’s sake. Kiara in a fit of rage asks why Manisha has turned against Abhira all of a sudden.
The conflict further rises when Manisha accuses Kiara's unborn child as the source of family issues. Kaveri doesn't like it and tells her to stop speaking ill of the baby. She is hurt and overwhelmed and so she decides to leave the house thinking she is only bringing more trouble to the Poddars. Tanya tries to convince her not to go but Kiara is firm and resolute.
Abhira and Arman see Kiara at the bus stand and run after her. Kiara admits that she is afraid of getting close to Abhir due to her past. Abhira and Arman give her assurance and undertake her to come back.
Manisha is so heated that she orders Madhav to use his power to locate Kiara when they are back at the house. Kajal calls out Manisha for her exaggeration by pointing out that she was too caught up in cursing the baby to actually stop Kiara from leaving. Abhira and Arman return with Kiara but the peace that falls is brief.
Abhir wants to have a word with Kiara but on hearing this, Manisha and Manoj scold her vehemently. In response, Abhir moves in to defend Abhir but he signals her to stop and that he wants to handle it on his own.
Kiara confronts Abhir in front of everyone, giving him a stark choice: either she marries him with giving up the baby or she keeps the baby and leaves both Abhir and the child. She leaves Abhir stupefied by her conditions.
He tells her that he is never going to compel her and chooses to step away from her life which leaves everyone in disbelief.
The series concludes with Abhira and Kaveri sharply reacting to the absolute truth of the matter Kiara uttered. The precap displays Arman chatting with Abhira on the matter of how to bring back Abhir and Kiara together whereas Manisha pledging to interrupt them and not letting Abhira win.
The audience is left with the question: Will Arman and Abhira’s endeavors be successful in bringing back Abhir and Kiara together, or will Manisha’s interference keep them apart? The next episode teases with more emotional twists as the family struggles with this crisis.
