The episode opens with Sachin observing something different at the Tejas and Roshni’s showroom—Sultan, the one he used to know, was inside. The situation made Sachin uncomfortable.
so he decided to confront Sultan but, every time he was about to confront him, something came in the way. Sachin cannot get the image of Sultan from his mind which disturbs him and makes him feel suspicious.
After that, Kishore, Paresh's old friend, comes to the Deshmukh house to talk about Bhavna's wedding. While the two of them were having a conversation, Sachin hears a phone conversation and is shocked to learn that Sultan is the uncle of the bridegroom. The coincidence looks too good to be true and Sachin’s suspicion intensifies.
On the other hand, Juhi and Arun meet at a temple, where Arun, worried, waits for Juhi’s reply to his proposal of marriage. Juhi, being mature and prudent, asks for some more time as she wants to talk to her family first. Arun conceals his displeasure but his nervousness can still be felt.
At the same time, tension escalates when Mamta, mother of Riya, appears. Although she has already been irritated, she does not waste time in giving Paresh a blank cheque and orders Riya to stop working at Akash’s restaurant as a waiter.
She accuses the Deshmukhs of exploiting her daughter while they neglect the fact that Riya took up the job to support the family. Sachin who cannot bear her insolence any longer, intervenes and strongly tells Mamta that she should not meddle in their affairs. But, Mamta doesn't quit—she insults both Sachin and Sayali, ridiculing their professions and thus escalating the matter further.
Not able to put up with her behavior any longer, Sachin acts in a way that no one would expect. He seizes the cheque, puts the huge sum of fifty crore rupees on it, and returns it to Mamta. She freaks out, understanding the most unfortunate situation this could bring about, and attempts to take it from her.
Sachin, on the contrary, is not going to move an inch and reminds her of her real financial situation. The disagreement becomes louder and even the normally composed Paresh elevates his tone and makes it clear that he will not tolerate her meddling.
Afterward, Mamta proposes to open a restaurant for Akash and Riya, using her money to fund it. Renuka considers it a great chance and commits to discussing it with Akash. However, Paresh is totally against the plan and keeps on asserting that Akash can only create a bright future for himself if he is self-reliant and not if he depends on others.
Akash and Riya upon hearing this are disheartened. Akash is not willing to accept any monetary assistance from Mamta whereas Riya dreams of having a restaurant someday but on their own terms not someone else’s.
As the day is about to end, Sayali gets a call from her manager who insists that she should start work immediately and buy the required materials. Sayali, feeling helpless and worried, turns to Roshni for the money and asks for the refund. She is under a lot of pressure and is not sure how to handle it all in such a limited time.
The episode concludes with the family still in the midst of Mamta's antics and Sayali work pressure, stirring up the question of how they are going to cope with these new issues—and whether Sultan's arrival will create more problems to be dealt with later on.
