The episode started with an uncomfortable silence following a proud moment: Dadabhai was recognizing Jhanak for topping her exams. He not only acknowledged her achievement but also made her a money gift, giving the example of the world where she alone succeeded amongst so many others.
Tanushri was angered by the gesture, threw an accusation at Dadabhai that he had insulted Mishti by ignoring her. Dadabhai did not waver and maintained that Mishti should be taught discipline by Jhanak, leaving the family members speechless.
After the silence, Dritimaan was the one who congratulated Jhanak, who responded with her dream to become a good doctor one day. Aditi was present there to lend her support, to Jhanak she promised emotional shelter and reassured her that it was she who brought her there so that she would not be alone.
But Dritimaan reminded them of the unfortunate event when Jhanak was taken by the police, and in that same breath, he also said that the person who stole the jewelry is still at large.
Rishi took this opportunity to come out and make a statement. He said that he had conducted the investigation of the robbery and he knew the truth. Aditi immediately threw the shield of defense and charged him with being partial towards Jhanak because she had "bought" his loyalty.
In spite of his wife's protest, Rishi made the biggest revelation: Mishti was the one who put Aditi's jewelry in Jhanak's bag. Tanushri was vehemently defending her daughter, however, Rishi was not backing down and even went as far as saying he had evidence and that Mishti wasn't the only one.
But there was a "mastermind" behind the whole thing. With so much on her mind, Jhanak asked Rishi to stop fighting for her, if he said one more word she would leave the house immediately, she warned.
Afterward, the emotional tempest turned its direction. Aditi asked Rishi questions when they were alone and felt that he didn't trust her even if she offered to leave the house. Rishi was quite indifferent, allowing her to leave if she wanted but at the same time saying he only knew Jhanak was innocent and hadn't really accused Aditi.
Feeling sad, Aditi blamed Rishi for changing his attitude and suggested that he no longer loved her. Attempting to step over the impasse, she brought up the idea of focusing on their future and even making plans for a baby, which Rishi immediately put off by saying it was not the right time.
After their conversation, they saw Jhanak who had been eavesdropping on their intimate talk. Aditi reacted by accusing Jhanak of causing her shame and breaking into their privacy.
Jhanak admitted that she was wrong but at the same time, she asked Aditi why she always shouted at her. Aditi harshly told her that the guilty party always points the finger at the victim.
Jhanak was torn apart by the aggression and thus repeated that it was the reason she never wanted to stay. Once more, she said sorry and yet, she claimed that she had nothing to do with their lives before exiting.
On the other hand, Arshi was very bitter in her words when she confronted Aniruddh about calling off the case. She accused him of being partial towards Jhanak because he is her father and thereby insisted that they must get rid of her permanently.
The episode ended with Sanjhbati and her family coming to the house to talk about her marriage to Dritimaan, thus promising the arrival of more conflicts in the next episodes.
